For the first time during this reality show business, Uri-el picked up a phone of his own volition.
***Text***
Hello, Tsehay Moqe? This is Uri-el. I received your contact information from ADINA. I have some messages for you from some people we met together. When would be a favorable time and place for us to meet and discuss them?
Thank you,
MBE

Malik looks down at his phone. Send location. He looked up at the buildings around him. Send location. He flew up to land on the roof of the tallest of the structures. Then he sent his location.

A second smaller sun bloomed and got closer before it formed into Tsehay Moqe. She stayed floating in the air as she arrived and said in English, “Uri-el, yes? Hello, how can I be of the service?”

"I have come across some information that you and the UNJE should know relating to the incident at which we met and the beach attack. Are you prepared? It is rather a long story, but I can try to make it short."

Tsehay Moqe said, “Of course, Uri-el, I always have the time for a fellow protector of the people.”

"The facts are these--
When I returned to the site of the bombing to try to discover where Steel Mosha had gone, I was approached by a person going by the alias Street Witch. She is working for a larger organization. In any case, she was able, through them, to arrange a meeting with Brass Orchid, a Triad operating in the city that employs, or employed, Steel Mosha. Her organization spent 1.2 million dollars to learn that the beach attack was the work of Nuani Kagumbo. We understand that she is operating out of a yacht on the ocean and is well-armed.
Incidentally, Brass Orchid is quite unhappy with the UNJE over the activities of Frankie Reynes, who apparently tripped their security at a place called the Champagne Room while pursuing a person by the name of Eric Gibson. They would like the UNJE to pay them 500,000 dollars to cover their expenses related to that incident. They would also like Frankie to apologize in a most humiliating fashion. I informed them that they would likely face a counter-claim for the building explosion, but I agreed to pass the message along.
Regarding Eric Gibson, it would appear that he may, as a result of actions he intends to take and that he may or may not understand, destroy the universe."

"Destroy the universe?" she asked as if she misheard the words. "Is this an idiom?"

Uri-el frowned. "I am told that the terms are accurate. The universe--our universe, at any rate; there appear to be several--may collapse."

“That is a lot to go on, without the universe ending…” she said. “I think the most urgent thing I can work on is trying to keep the Brass Orchid from doing something dumb. I will talk to the Institute and see what we can come up with. They are criminals but they also have a lot of influence in the city, from corporate ties to politics.”
“As much as I would like to just get rid of them.”

"I understand the urge. They are aggressive. If I am not much mistaken, Street Witch's organization intends to move against the Mokele Mbembe, and I believe that Gibson will likely be a special focus of my peers."

“Alright, well I will focus on the Brass Orchid, I doubt we will be agreeing to their demands but I am not going to antagonize them either. If your friends need my help with this Eric Gibson feel free to reach out to me. Especially if he is a danger to my city,” she said.
“Street Witch, you trust this Elite?” she asked.

"Not in the least." Uri-el did not hesitate. "She has made comments that suggests that she is an elite-supremacist, and her organization was able to set up a meeting with the local leadership of Brass Orchid almost instantly. But she is also a point of contact with another force in the city, and I think it would be unwise not to keep her in view."

“I feel uneasy about this, but if you feel this is the best choice, I support it,” she said.
