“It’s inherently human to be inhuman, I suppose,” he responded.

Paragon gave a thoughtful nod at her response. He had seen many things over the years to challenge that response but he did believe that at his core. Or wanted to believe it. He said, “I believe you will do well at Elite Academy if you hold to that ideal.”

She grinned

''I am glad you think so, sir''

The game was intense for the second half but the home team pulls it out with a 3 to 2 victory. Paragon is focused on the game but engages in more polite and warm banter. He seems to be at a minimum enjoying the company so much so at the end he offers to exchange contact info.
