[Day 4 - EN] It Came From Where?

[Galatea]

The beast was stalled thanks to Iris and it could not be allowed to make another attack like that one. With the bus passengers free from the wreck, Galatea turned towards the beast. She made a mighty leap to enact a wild drop kick on that bargain-bin Godzilla ugly mug.

But she missed it's ugly head, shattering some stone right next to it

With the giant woman flying...kind of over the lizard thing, and someone else was doing....something, she wasn't sure what. Rising up she looked at the giant lizard and with a deep breath pushed out further than she had before. Her blue eyes lighting up slightly and a stormcloud forming over the top of the Lizard and spreading out as the ground began to freeze and the winds picked up. Kicking the blizzard into full gear around the thing like a frozen tornado.

(ooc - free action to use Extra Effort on Environment to raise its power effect by 1 rank, now able to reach 90 feet.
Standard action to activate The Frozen power:
Selective: Extreme cold (Fortitude check every 1 minute with increased DC per minute), Impede movement (-2 speed ranks), Visibility (-5 modifier to any perception as it gets darker) only effecting the Kaiju but in a 90 foot Radius around Shadow.
Linked with Hailstorm: Damage 1 cloud Area effect (Cold/Bludgeoning damage) selective only effecting the Kaiju and Noticeable (Large Cloud in the sky above where it's falling).

I believe Fortitude check for Extreme cold is DC10 and the Damage is toughness vs DC 16 (going for kill so I think both would be 1 DC higher)

The beast snaps at Galatea trying to bite her limbs off with its massive maw! The kaiju is sluggish but her being the closest made her the most likely target.

Kaiju Bite check vs. Galatea | 1d20+8 ⇒ 15 and Galatea must make a Toughness save versus DC 27 with Penetrating 6.

The croc's sluggish speed allowed for Galatea to push the Giant maw away

The girl controlling the blizzard didn't move, focusing on what was happening. Keeping the blizzard attacking the blizzard and hoping it would keep it at bay while the large woman slapped it around.

"Everyone that isn't a 15 feet tall woman or a giant lizard run the fuck away NOW!" She shouted as she stood rooted.

(Standard action/free action to sustain the Blizzard, checks for hailstorm end of every round. Fortitude checks for extreme cold every minute with +1DC for each check but I don't know what that it is in round times. Move action to shout instructions)

[Dapper Dog]

The kaiju howled at the storm pelting it, scouring the flesh, the bits that were vulnerable and it snapped at the air trying to bite away the cold and storm.

Iris couldn't help but feel a little bad for the creature. Still, it was either stop the thing or let innocents die.

She continues to concentrate her gaze on it, feeling a migraine coming on as several eyes turn bloodshot.

The creature turned away to avoid the gaze attack and then snapped in her direction before looking back towards Galatea. It roared loudly in aggravation.

The kaiju reeled from the powerful blow , flecks of blue-white glowing blood spray across the street and buildngs. The kaiju inhaled deep and unleashed another powerful beam of kaiju energy!

OOC: Kaiju Toughness Save | 1d20+11 ⇒ 22 Dazed and at a -2 to Toughness saves. Area attack Dodge DC of 15 Dodge for a +7 damage effect, a 120 foot cone if save fails make a DC 22 Toughness save, if it succeeds then DC 19 Toughness save for all three elites.

The fire had torn away at her second favourite hoodie and left her in incredible pain, but still the girl remained standing. Focusing on pushing the blizzard as much as she could while the giant woman continued to slap at the monster. She hoped it would fall over soon because it was getting past the point of surviving.

(ooc: assuming I am still standing - I believe Shadow is now on -2 toughness penalty and dazed - gonna post my action now as it's easy and doesn't hold anything up while I sleep. Dazed means only standard and free actions which is fine because using standard action/free action to sustain the Blizzard, DC17 checks for hailstorm end of every round. Fortitude checks for extreme cold every minute with +1DC for each check but I don't know what that it is in round times. This'll be her action each round unless she falls so happy for this to be ghosted while I sleep)

Iris pushes herself off the ground looking a little battered, burned and bruised, wincing as she brushes some dirt out of the eyes on her wrist.

She raises her hands opening several smaller eyes on them and focuses them on the kaiju.

"Just stop moving you prick."

The massive mutant crocodile weathered the blizzard but the gaze from Iris slows it even further, the effect seems to confuse and anger the creature.

The kaiju reeled from the bloody blow, more of it’s vibrant blue blood spraying the ground and scenery. The prey it was hunting was proving to be far more capable than their size would let on.

So when in doubt, cook them with a blast of atomic energies. Then the creature shakes off the gaze effect, turning to look at the many-eyed elite.
