[Day 2 - EE] Just the Facts

[Dapper Dog]

"Thank you for that, and just to clear things up none of you have ever had prior interactions with this woman, or the DCP mercenaries?" he asked gruffly.

[Babble]

"I have not." Arturo answered.

[Iris Pythia]

"Nope."

But she was hoping to interact with them again.

[Thousand Miles]

"This is my first visit to Africa," Miles said. "I've never been anywhere near these DCP people before. They seem dangerous though; is there anything we can do to help?"

[Dapper Dog]

Detective Nasir said, “The best thing any of you could do is to not interfere with an ongoing investigation, I appreciate your willing ness but unless you have a license you may end up doing more harm than good. We are working with Tsehay Moqe on this. I do appreciate your willingness to help.”


Special Agent Forester said, “Is there anything else you can think of that might aid the investigation?”

[Iris Pythia]

Iris frowns but says nothing.

Special Agent Forester said, “Is there anything else you can think of that might aid the investigation?”

"I dunno, I could try and analyze Frankie's cells for some clues. But that's kind of rude to do without her permission. And I don't have the time to go sit a couple miles away from Miss Warlord and stare at her all day.

Babble's a tech guy? I dunno, maybe he can run a trace? Hack the mainframe?"
She looks over at Arturo.

[Babble]

"There wasn't much of the suit left, from what I saw after the explosion." He said. "Have the investigators uncovered anything intact?"

[Dapper Dog]

“I oversaw retrieval of evidence at the location, but there is evidence some stuff may have been taken before we got there. Dangerous souvenirs. But anything that could aid the investigation we have it,” she said.

“So if you saw anyone or know of anyone that could have taken potential evidence, let us know.”

[Thousand Miles]

"You know, I yanked off a piece of the robot trying to disable it," Thousand Miles recalled. "I think I still have it. Would that help?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah I can take that," she said. Taking the object and looking at it and added, "Good catch."

[Babble]

"Is there any chance we would.be allowed to study the other remnants of the suit, at some point?" Arturo asked.

[Thousand Miles]

"Iris said the suit was remote-controlled, so I think this is part of its radio," Miles said as he handed the hardware over. "Hope you can find the bastards who did this."

[Dapper Dog]

"Is there any chance we would.be allowed to study the other remnants of the suit, at some point?" Arturo asked.

“The UNJE will handle that, we have the specialists to deal with DCP technology,” she responded. “It’s dangerous out in the hands of the public.”

[Babble]

Arturo nodded in understanding. "In the aftermath, I found a piece of the chest plate. The scene wasn't secure yet, but I needed to go with the wounded. It seemed like taking it with me would be safest."

[Dapper Dog]

"Do you have it with you?" she asked.

[Babble]

"It's at the STEM Center. It's the most secure place I have access, too." He explained. "I shouldn't have taken it. I'm sorry. But, it seems likely that we may face more threats like that."

[Dapper Dog]

"You did fine kid, you did the right thing and you got nothing to be sorry about. And that goes for all of you, you're heroes," he said gruffly.

[Iris Pythia]

Iris was mildly impressed at the initiative and mildly disappointed the evidence was being handed over. Still, it was what it was.

"I just hope we can get some evidence to you know, act."

[Dapper Dog]

"We will, the bad guys will get what's coming to them," she responded.

[Babble]

"If we're right about Frankie being the target, she and the rest of us are at risk." Arturo said. "I know you have procedures to follow, but we'd feel much more comfortable if we knew what was threatening us and had some hand in our own safety."
