[Day 5 - LA] The Other, Other Frankie, Frankie the Clown

"Maybe she's a copy of you? I dunno, maybe clowns are the centre of existence? As much chance of that as the other way round, so I wouldn't worry about it. You're all equally Frankie for better or worse."

Cocking her head.
"I haven't, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. Of course, if they're not that means there's something special about you and the Frankies that means you guys have all travelled through. Maybe if one person hops it starts sucking in all the others?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Well bruv, everything was just fine, I was working on a cruise and then we were suddenly not where we were supposed to be and there was like a tsunami, I guess, yeah? I was helping and then I find out it was all a simulation thingy? It was really weird. And then the ship went away but for some reason I was stuck here,” she admitted.

“So maybe you are right, mate. Still just a lot to take in, init.”

Pause.

"Wait, what were you doing on a cruise? Are you like a sailor?"
Iris politely does not inquire if Clown Frankie was the entertainment.

“I was actually on vacation, but I work with Search and Rescue operations, yeah. But then everything went sideways and suddenly I was asked to rescue a bloke constantly drowning in a building, strange enough he was still alive. It was a weird day with a weird end,” she admitted.

Sounding impressed.
"That's a cool job though, so you're the expert who has to save people from earthquakes and that sort of thing? Actually very responsible sounding, good on you."

A thought occurs.
"Oh hey, so does your reality have people with super powers? Like is that something that's pretty standard?"

[Dapper Dog]

"No, I don't think so," she admitted. "Nothing like this, so yeah a very weird day."

"Huh...okay well that's really weird. You're doing pretty well for someone dealing with all that. I'd be lowkey freaking out."
Although now Iris was curious.

"Hey, could you do me a favour when you go back to your world? I'm kind of interested in how alternate me would be doing without powers and all that. Be nice if someone checked in on her, she might be kind of lonely. Oh, and I assume you use clown pounds or something, but I can get you some gold bars to take back to cover any costs."

[Dapper Dog]

"Where would I even possibly find alternate you, if I ever go home?" she asked. "I mean I am freaked out but I can't lay on the ground and be catatonic, right? Gotta keep moving forward, yeah."

"Small town called 'Delphi' in Central Greece. I dunno how similar are realities are but my family the Pythia should have been there a long time. Or, I dunno. The no powers thing could be complicated. But that would be your best bet.

And hey, it's a very pretty part of the world, good food and drink,beautiful countryside. You could finish your holiday there."

Iris looks sympathetic but also unsurprised Clown Frankie would just roll with shifting dimensions.
