[D2, LA] Recreational Violence

It had taken some minutes to get the request taken seriously. No one was expecting the angel to want to fight for fun or training purposes. Assumptions were made. But the private area (a roomy place, and tall...perhaps a squash court once upon a time), outfitted with pads to protect the walls from the inevitable.
Uri-el was standing toward the back wall of the court, stretching out his wings, getting ready for the fight. of. his. life!

Raul enters the room wearing his black and silver outfit, mask off and stretching his arms. "Hola!" He waves him down from the distance. "Yo, should be fun! Or end quickly. Gonna be flipping that coin soon, though." The flying thing meant he couldn't get up close and do his main attack, but it wasn't the first time he had faced someone who could do it; he had a few means to deal with it.
Hopefully Mal wouldn't be too upset over it.
"You ready to get your ass beat?" He said with a large grin. "Nah, just messin', sure you'll be doing it to me instead."

Uri-el didn't smile. He'd found over the years that it could be rather off-putting, what with the fire licking out from behind the teeth. "You believe no such thing. It is alright. I will learn much from this, I think."

A small barrier began to form over his body as he slipped on his mask and slammed his fists together; blast pulsated from it and spreading out around the area as he started to float off the ground. "You're right; I don't think that, but I don't think I'm gonna win either. I don't have a single clue how this will go. What I'm thinking is I'm thrilled to find out, so let's cut loose,
acere!"

Uri-el needed no further encouragement. "Let us begin, then." With a single beat of just the lower pair of wings, he was airborne. That's when the other four kicked in, and, faster than the eye could track, Uri-el had passed Gauss by with a kick to the head for his pains.
He arced upward, putting distance between them, angling for the next pass.
************
Uri-el uses favored environment for +2 to attack, then spends those on Power Attack for a net +2 to damage. He combines this with Move-by Action to keep on moving after the attack.
Attacking Gauss (round 1!). Unarmed Attack (kick). Favored Environment->Power Attack+Move-by action. | 1d20+7 ⇒ 21
Damage rating is 6. 4 Strength+2 Power Attack. Additionally: Fire Aura damage rank 1 (can't imagine that that's going to be an issue, but hey).

Gauss takes the hit directly and staggers a little from the impact, but shakes it off quickly while he charges in. "Not bad, Mal! But don't think cause you're flying I can't do anything!"
Seeing no need to pull the trump card out just yet, he stretched his arms out at him and clutched his hands like he was gripping something. Taking a moment to aim, he quickly motions his arms as if throwing a baseball and aims upward at Mal and throws.
A large ripple of energy launches quickly at Uri-el.

Gauss' magnetic blast was powerful indeed, but the seraph was an artist of aerial movement. It was a close-run thing, but he simply dropped below the wave and swept forward with a second kick toward Raul's left side. But, perhaps jarred by the proximity of the blast, he bungled his approach, just barely managing to zip away to Gauss' right. Not for the first time, Malik wished he had a head for quips and verbal jousting--it might have helped him cover his fumble.

"Tan resbaladizo!" He grunted as he easily dodged the attack. It was clear that those attacks weren't going to work against someone who could maneuver so well against. He had to clip his wings a little and make him come to ground.
"Don't hold this against me..." He moved into a defensive position and shifted his vision to see what he needed. Focusing on the spot he saw could see, Mal's vision would suddenly become more and more sensitive to light.

Uri-el was a mite surprised by the sudden way his eyes rebelled against him. Making them sensitive to light was particularly devious, as they shed light themselves, being, you know, made of fire. So Uri-el stopped rushing about to hover (no use slamming into a wall), and cried out with a shout of anguish that seemed pulled from the pits of the earth.
Will Save vs. Gauss' Eye thing! | 1d20+7 ⇒ 14 Dazed.
Well, that's no good!
Uri-el will switch modes so that Favored Environment applies to Defenses (Dodge and Parry DCs now at 26)
I think Defensive Attack requires me to actually perform an attack action, which is not possible while dazed, because I'd need to close with Gauss to do it.

It looked like he wasn't even phased by his cries. While he seemed strong of mind to handle it, he decided another go at it was probably for the best, trying to once again bring him down to the ground.
Hopefully on his own and not falling several hundred feet. Gauss didn't want to win
that badly.

Dazed allows you to do a single action, so you have a choice between moving or attacking, but not both.
Another DC 18 will save!

Dazed again, Uri-el groaned in frustration. Nerves of steel were all well and good, but they would not last forever, and being unable to respond was not a winning strategy. He came at Gauss with all the speed he possessed.
[Move action to close with Gauss. Not landing if I don't have to.]

As he charges in, he releases the hold on the eye and immediately charges in at him with his fist, but can't to get nail him for the proper impact. It's a wide swing, but it really to hit Uriel, instead hitting the ground with his fist causing a small magnetic burst to inflict upon the area.

Uri-el screeched to a halt directly in front of Gauss, only to be forced to vault up and over him by the magnetic burst. That was when the punching started.
Dodge check against Magnetic Burst | 1d20+16 ⇒ 18. If this is an area effect, then this is at +2 from Evasion 1 as well.
Round 3 attack roll; Favored Environment pivots back to attack. Applying Power Attack. | 1d20+7 ⇒ 17 Should that hit, Damage Rating=Strength 4+Power Attack 2=6. And then also that cheeky Fire Aura 1.
Does a person recover from the Daze effect of your power as they would with damage, i.e. with a minute of rest? Or is there another system at work, here?

Gauss barely managed to block the fist, but the heat of the impact made him winch. With that, he dropped his guard a little. "Damn, you're hot man! Alright, Mal, that's enough. You got me; there's no way I can hit you when you move like that. Safe to say it's your win today."
Well, not hit in a way I could feel comfortable looking at myself in the mirror the next morning, at least.

Hits because of that previous hit.

Daze is gone that I switched up to attack, since it's a AE. Sorry, should have been more clear that it was off. As for the effects, you have to make another will save every round to remove the effects if I were to keep it up. I only tried it again to attempt to get you to a second or third degree.
Probably safe to call the fight here since it's day flip.

Malik dropped the attack instantly, his eyebrow arching with disbelief. "You had me with whatever it was you were doing with the light. I suspect that you play a much stronger hand in the ring, no?"

"I...got a few other tricks, sure, but nothing I'm for a friendly spar, Mal. Yeah, you go all in on that speed, that makes it tough to hit you. Doubt if I did manage to hit you, you'd take it well, but still have to actually do it. You got to think on what I can do against people like you. Given me something to think on, Mal, thanks. Hopefully in my flailing to hit you I gave you some pause. I'm glad I didn't cause brain damage with that seizure I gave you."
Raul extends his hand to shake his. "Anyways, all I know is if I ever visit Alexandria, I am going to be on my best behavior; use all my manners."

Malik accepts the handshake slowly, so as to give Raul room to withdraw if it gets too hot. He finds that people tend to appreciate the opportunity.
"And I think that I have identified a few vulnerabilities of my own--such as what to do when I am unable to maintain my speed. But I think you will find yourself very welcome in Alexandria, if you get the chance to visit."

He does it for a moment or two, clasping, then pulling away. He was still sort of dealing with those burns from before; skin was a bit sensitive. "Maybe we'll try again another time and see if anything's changed. I would like another swing at you, but sometime after I dip body into some aloe vera." There was a chuckle in his mouth, but he was starting to favor his side from the way he was standing for a moment, before leaning back up to try to not make it obvious.
