He shrugged. "Maybe I'm still being too ambitious. If I simplified it more, I probably wouldn't have any issue. But, these elements feel necessary for effective search and rescue. I was really hoping I'd have the basic designed finalized by now, so I could present proof of concept."

“Don’t get too down on yourself, bro, it will come together. Or scale it back and get the prototype going and then iterate from there? It’s your vision, realize it the best way you feel possible,” he said.

"Yeah, I may need to strip out the sensors for now." he nodded. "It's that or alter the physical augmentations. Lowering them too much kind of defeats the purpose, though."

He continued to review the designs. "I just feel like I should have finished this by now. I've probably been to distracted with everything else. I have a search running for any new messages from ELSI."

“Any luck on that front, searching for ELSI have they made contact?” he asked.

"No." He shook his head. "ELSI seems to be testing her capabilities. I've been able to identify the things she's done, but she hasn't responded to the messages I've left out there."

He brought up the information he'd gathered so far.

"I just wish I knew where Pantheon took her and why."

"Hrrrm... what if you could reach someone in the Pantheon Network?" he asked. "Think that might help?"

"The ones who took her didn't like me much." he shrugged. "But, it's worth a try. I have so many questions. That faraday shielding was very familiar, you know?"

“Well we can try and get on the dark web and see if we can make contact,” he said. “I’m not sure it will work but it won’t hurt to try. Hopefully we get one of the not psycho ones.”

"That would be good." he agreed. "It's occurred to me that ELSI may have been a part of it all. She was definitely trying to get away from Infinite Horizons."
