[D1, LE] Girl's side looking for roommates (open)

[Galatea]

"11. Look good with your hat and boots" Galatea chimed it "You certainly succeed with that one darling"

[Ayana Kebede]

"It's a real numbered list," she said with awe and surprise softly.

[Bee Haw]

She smiled at them.

"Ha! I don't think anyone's looking at me with you around, Galatea." Except the cameras.

"But thank you. It is sweet of you to say." She glanced down at her boots. Gave a happy little kick.

"Oh, I just realized, I heard a bit of probably totally untrue gossip about your love life, Galatea, because you are a celebrity, but ... that could happen to any of us now! Being on the show. What will my mama think? No, she'll know it's nothing."

[Galatea]

''You trust each other? Then you have no rumors to fear.'' she replied knowing that she would have a degree of control over the participants image

[Bee Haw]

"I feel good about the show. I trust Ms. Patel. I had a chance to meet with her, and she seemed very kind and thoughtful. I'm not involved with anyone here or at home, so nothing to worry about there."

"If I was so fortunate to have met a man who wanted to marry me, I'm sure he'd be the kind to know me well enough to trust me in a situation like this. I just haven't met him yet."

[Julia Waters]

Julia poked her head in, saw Galatea and Bea and others and went nope and found another room.

[Galatea]

''I am glad she reached out''

Oh dear, you have not seen much of the world...haven't you?

She eyed the four beds in the room as Julia noped out of there

''So you are taking this room with miss Kebede?'' she asked for confirmation

[Ayana Kebede]

"Yeah, I will," she replied.

[Bee Haw]

"You are most welcome to join us, if you'd like, Galatea." She smiled at her.

[Galatea]

Galatea considered her options. A single room would be unlikely and by the pool of candidates presents this configuration could be the best one even if the fourth girl was an unknown so far...and it could remain empty.

''Very well then...though I warn you, I can have trouble sleeping. I hope you won't mind it.''

[Ayana Kebede]

"That's fine," Ayana said.

[Bee Haw]

"I'm sure that won't be a problem. Just let us know if there is anything we can do to help. I don't usually stay up too late. I'm an early to bed, early to rise type, if there isn't some emergency that require something else. Farm hours. But I'll be real quiet at night and in the morning if anyone is still sleeping or trying to get to sleep."

She would be considerate. That's what being a roommate and future teammate was all about!

[Galatea]

"You are both very considerate. I am sure we'll have a good time while we are here"

She moved her two packs into the room. That was a suspiciously small amount of space for the clothes she'd been wearing so far.

"I don't suppose you both are into going clubbing?"

[Ayana Kebede]

Ayana considered it and then said, "Maybe, just have to make sure I am free that night. I have some tough classes this semester."

[Bee Haw]

"Oh, that'... uh ... I like line dancing. But I don't drink. So, maybe? Occasionally? I don't think I've ever been clubbing in the sense you mean. Like a nightclub?"

She paused, looking a little uncertain, but wanting to make friends. It would be okay. She didn't have to drink or hangout with people drinking or worse. She could just dance. Hopefully.

"We are going to have a competition task every morning, they said. Or, at least, we'll hear about what it is in the morning? I want to be bright-eyed and well-rested for that. They said it wouldn't be a problem to attend Temple with my host family on Sundays. So the tasks don't have to be done first thing in the morning. Or maybe Sunday is a rest day?" She realized she wasn't sure.

"What are you studying, Ayana? I can't imagine being in school, too, during this competition. You must be so smart!" She said that sincerely. Genuine admiration.

[Ayana Kebede]

She held up a psychology book and said, "Psychology, I am basic like that."

[Bee Haw]

"Oh! That's an interesting topic. I don't know if mind reading is helpful in studying psychology but if that's ever something you need, I could help."

"Galatea, are you enrolled at the University, too?"

[Galatea]

''Ooooh! You do look like someone smart'' she commented, appreciative of Ayana's field

''Yes, Adina got me into business, marketing and social media stuff. What about you Queen Bee?''

[Bee Haw]

"Business, marketing, and social media sounds important, too. Lil D was telling me how much that is a part of being a hero, if you make the team. Though maybe other people help with that? And you just focus on hero stuff?" She sure hoped someone helped with that.

"I'm not enrolled. I ... uh ... did my best in high school, but it was a lot. I didn't get any book learning boost when I emerged. I can't really see myself keeping up with university types in a classroom. But I'm sure glad to know you!"

"I'm thinking to use my time that I'm not doing Academy stuff and working at the cafe to do some volunteer work. Maybe an animal shelter? Something like that? I'm going to look into opportunities tomorrow."

[Ayana Kebede]

“Lucky, school can be a real shitfest. I would rather just skip it but just in case this whole UNJE thing goes wrong, I need something,” she admitted.

“Or so my dad says.”
