Carrots (5LA, open)

[Thousand Miles]

Miles was in the kitchen fixing himself a snack, and also slicing up bits of carrot to feed Dumpling as part of his ongoing campaign to bribe his way into the house rabbit's affections. The Singaporean teen was certain that any day now the rabbit and himself would become fast friends.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Frankie Reynes,
Frankie Reynes,
Does weird shit to make it rain...sss
Walks around, boom sprinkles abound,
ninja stealth she makes no sound,
Look out, here comes Frankie Reynes."

Did they have that song in this universe? Or the more well known version across the multiverse? Who knows, but she was softly singing it as she stealthed her way into the kitchen. Oh, you could hear her. But you couldn't *see* her. Probably. Unless you were really perceptive. But you probably weren't. Maybe.

Anyway, the sound came from over there. No, over there! Wait, why was the pile of carrots getting smaller? Syke, that was just a distraction for the real heist: the disappearance of the snack that thousand miles was making for himself.

[Thousand Miles]

"Ohh, you're hungry today Dumpling, aren't you?" Miles cooed at the rabbit as the carrots quickly vanished. He began slicing some more vegetables when he realized his sandwich was gone!

"What happened to my cucumber sandwich?" Miles exclaimed. "Did you take it, Dumpling?" He gave the house bunny a suspicious glare!

[Frankie Reynes]

"Yes, it was definitely me, dumpling," said the bunny while apparently throwing his voice and sounding a lot like Frankie; who was still hiding.

[Thousand Miles]

"I suspected that you were holding out on us, Dumpling ... but now I've found out the truth," Miles declared. "Admit it: you're actually Bunny Frankie, from yet another alternate universe!" He pointed an accusing finger at the rabbit.

[Frankie Reynes]

"...you got me, bruv" bunny frankie said, still throwing its voice around the room instead of having it originate from itself.

"You want to feed me carrots when you got this wonderful bacon and mayonaise sandwich for yourself? Bruv..."

[Thousand Miles]

"Do rabbits eat bacon in your universe?" Miles asked, fascinated. "That's .. a little weird, but okay!"

He got some leftover bacon out of the fridge and put half a piece on top of the carrots, as an offering to the apparently carnivorous rabbit.

[Frankie Reynes]

Meanwhile, cut to a shot of Frankie standing behind a piece of furniture, eating the bacon and mayonaise sandwich, looking straight into the camera with a deadpan expression before it cuts back to Thousand Miles and the rabbit.

"Don't rabbits eat bacon in this one?" It asked, though its voice seemed to come from behind that piece of furniture from the previous shot.

[Thousand Miles]

Picking up on the fact that the voice wasn't coming from the rabbit, Miles vanished with a *peng!* and reappeared on the other side of the furniture in a short-range teleport attempt to catch the ventriloquist in the act!

[Frankie Reynes]

Technically, she was a super ninja whose stealth Thousand Miles had not been able to pierce. But also technically, she'd been making a lot of noise that should've totally broken her super ninja stealth. Which is probably why he came face to face with Frankie! Still in the process of eating the sandwich he'd made.

"Oh, hmmn-mmm, hey TM," she said as she turned to look at him.

[Thousand Miles]

"J'accuse!" Miles exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at the sandwich thief. "So, Ninja Frankie, you were working with Bunny Frankie to steal my sandwich all along! What do you have to say for yourself?"

[Ultimate Frankie]

From the living room other Frankie shouted, "Hey... did someone say sandwiches, bruv? Make me one, yeah."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Innocent to all charges," she said, before waving at other Frankie.

[Thousand Miles]

"I guess we're going to need more sandwiches," Miles concluded, apparently not too mad about having his original sandwich stolen. He dug the sandwich fixings back out of the fridge and started to spread mayonnaise onto the bread.

"Just how many Frankies are there now? Are you even one of the ones that I've met before?"

[Ultimate Frankie]

"Wot mate, original flavor. THE CLASSIC, YEAH," she shouted from the living room.

[Frankie Reynes]

"I'm Frankie Prime, yeah? She's this universe's Frankie; the plain crisp flavor yeah? And then there's Clown Frankie who... I don't even know."

[Thousand Miles]

"You're both the original Frankie?" Miles said skeptically. "Sounds like something Clone Frankie would say. And, isn't having this many Frankies around going to contribute to the universe-destroying thing that you told us about?"

[Frankie Reynes]

"Probably, yeah. But I mean it's cool, I got kidnapped by a mad scientist who'se now on the case, so I'm thinking they'll solve it in like a few days, probably."

[Ultimate Frankie]

"See she's on it, and me, I am just riding this nightmare to the end of the line, bruv. Everything will work out just fine, or we all die, easy," she said from the living room.

"Hey, we got any chips in there, yeah?"

[Thousand Miles]

"Probably, yeah. But I mean it's cool, I got kidnapped by a mad scientist who'se now on the case, so I'm thinking they'll solve it in like a few days, probably."

Miles shook his head. "Yeah I dunno how much you can count on mad scientists, they're usually not on the reliable side. Hope things work out though, I like this universe. It's the only one I got."

"Hey, we got any chips in there, yeah?"

"There's some chips in the freezer," Miles called back, after sliding the freezer door open for a look. "I can hot them up for you if you want? But you'll owe me - or the league of Frankies can owe me, I guess."
