[Pre-Game Tuesday 10th - MM] Frankie Friday on a Tuesday

[Frankie Reynes]

"....yes?" She looked at Frankie again for a moment, "Yes?" and then back to miss Kim. "...yes."

"I mean... it's what you believe, right? How else do you explain this doubles situation and mixed-up histories..."

“But is it what you believe?” she asked.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Well yeah," she replied, nodding, "It actually makes a whole lot of sense given what some of my... our... powers can do."

[Ultimate Frankie]

“Yeah bruv, I guess that sounds right, yeah,” Frankie added.

[Kim Jun-Min]

Jun-Min sat back and took more notes ad then said, “Okay, ADINA has given you a new room. We can get you scheduled for classes, and given the possibility of your situation, I can’t think of a better place to be then here so we can use the resources of the UNJE to better understand your situation.”

“Both of you.”

“I don’t know an Eric Gibson, I can do some looking but without more information this is a very tenuous lead. But if there is something maybe ADINA can find it.”

“I want you both to know I take this situation very seriously and want to apologize about earlier. I was feeling unwell after the attempted link, but I should not have tried to end the session early,” she said in apology.

"No, that's like... I mean, are *you* okay?" she asked, "Blacking out like that didn't hurt or anything, did it?"

“I appreciate the concern, but I am already feeling better. Just might need something for a headache,” she said kindly.

“ADINA prepare some chai. I think this is a good stopping point. And I want you both to know that you can come to me day or night, and I will have ADINA pass my contact info to you. Day or night,” she reassured them both.

She reached a hand over into... nothingness... and thought about getting *something* that might be useful for a headache. A bottle of aspirin or something, probably. Of course, hard to say if it would *work*, but it didn't hurt to try. Probably. Unless it was making the whole breaches in the fabric of reality problem worse.

(don't know if a bottle of aspirine counts as 'equipment' )

She took the offered medicine with a graceful gesture and said, “Thank you.”

Maybe somewhere the fabric of reality tore a smidge more, but perhaps it was worth the relief it might bring. Given things seemed to be wrapped up she led them to the door and had the two twins who were not actually twins back to their own devices outside her home

“So, Frankie, now what, bruv? I got to thinkin’ yeah. What if, now stay with me here, what if that kid was just loony, right? What if he’s lyin’, yeah? What then?” she asked.

"Well... he was no kid, I don't think. I think that's what he looked like to our eyes, yeah? I put on those goggles and he turned into like this giant elder space god or something."

She seemed remarkably not-freaked out about that fact, though.

"But I guess he could still be lying and what not. Maybe the universe isn't going to blow up? That'd be cool. You thinking he's lying about that or something else? Oh, and I guess... I've been thinking too. How come you don't have powers?"

“Mostly it scares me to think everything will be gone in just six months,” she said.

Frankie shrugged at the mention of powers and kept walking, “Oh I am sorry, let me go to the bloody power factory and order myself some, yeah. Bruv, if I knew I would tell you. Either you’re an Elite or you’re not, yeah.”

“Maybe mine just have not come in, yeah. Like when I was thirteen yeah, I had a flat chest right, but then I was sixteen yeah, and now I wear a respectable bra, yeah? So yeah, maybe I just need time, bruv.”

"Respectable, sure. And why's everyone calling us 'Elites' and such? Makes it sound like we're attending Eton or something. That's not what we call people with powers back home. Sounds too... well, elitist, yeah?"

She stopped for a moment. "How do people get powers 'ere anyway? And what if they do like *tests* and stuff to see if you got 'em? Aren't we supposed to be on a superpowered game show or something too?"

“That’s just the word they use, I am not sure when it started bruv, maybe like 2013 or so? So I was like barely born, yeah. But they just call them Elites, you know Justice Elite? The bleedin’ United Nations Justice Elite, yeah?” she responded.

“This ain’t no comic, yeah, real life, bruv. I don’t think there is like a single test to see if you are or not, because like… look at Elites, yeah. Most look normal, yeah, others like mega-pretty and others are like hideous, bruv. I even saw some bloke that look like walking snot balls, yeah? So like, maybe they ain’t no test yeah. So I say we just fake it till we make it, well I make it.”

"Yeah but what if they put you in like a danger room or fight mutant crocodiles for that tv show? I mean, Survivor:Croydon's no joke bruv, superpowered reality tv is on a whole different level, yeah?"

"Bruv, I don't want to fight no mutant crocodiles! But, I mean... maybe you're right. You *sure* you ain't got no powers? Not even something small or what not? Maybe I could train you up to unlock your inner reality breaking, or something, all eye of the tiger training montage like, yeah?"

“I mean, I can belch our national anthem, it’s a great party trick, bruv. Oh and I’m double jointed? Also I have the power of a twin from another universe, yeah?” she responded.

“You know what, we can try the whole training thing, I saw online, yeah, some tiktoks on how to unlock your inner Elite, thought it was bollocks, but maybe…”
