OOC: Just to clarify, everyone is preparing to go in, Bea as Bees, and is she inside already, and Frankie is sneaking around?

OOC: My thought was mostly to follow the others around sneakily as they make their way in, and keep a look-out for anything sus, although Bee is probably better at that with her senses. But basically she'll be sneakily following the group until she has a reason to sneak off elsewhere or do something.

The structure from the outside has a faded sign that reads Badabo Fish Cannery, out front are many vehicles and openly armed guards. There is a police vehicle there and the officer is chatting with one of the guards. They look like young street gangers who are doing the screening to enter the building. Once Bee Haw is inside she can see it was once some kind of fish packing plant converted into what is now a bustling black market selling animals, meat, technology, illegal drugs, weapons and business is good.

The building has been connected to others to make a rather large shopping area with languages from all over the world. There is an area that seems to have heightened security with different guards, these seem to be augmented humans with cybernetic limbs and cyberware.

There is paint over the door that reads in Amharic Champagne Room, but it’s more a separate connected building. Basically they have converted half the block into this black-market area and the Champagne Room is a warehouse connected in this makeshift structure.

This seems to be the high dollar area.

She will position at least one bee watching over each of them, one bee watching each entrance/exit, and one bee watching the 'Champagne Room' door, with the intent to enter if someone opens the door (or if there is an obvious path through vents or windows.)

She is immediately drawn to the animals. Animals are being sold? Are they being mistreated? Several bees head over to the animals, and converse.

Th animals are stressed, some are being sold as exotic pets while others as livestock but the conditions are not exactly humane. Just product to be moved or slaughtered at the whim of the seller. She would need to stealth inside the Champagne room if she wants get in.

She studies the door to the Champagne room and decides it's too risky to try to sneak in, but this is all about gathering information so she can just keep watching the door and get a close look of anyone going in or out for describing / matching to descriptions of persons of interest.

She is sad for the animals and is trying to figure out if any of what she is seeing (with the animals or elsewhere in the room) is specifically illegal to put together a report to the police. She isn't an expert on Ethiopian law, so she's looking for things that would be illegal in the US, and might need checking if they are illegal here.

She will move a bee to listen to the conversation between the police officer and guard. Like, clearly at least one police officer knows about this place. Who is it? Do they seem to be enforcing the law?

There is a woman officer standing outside her vehicle chatting with the gangsters, and inside the vehicle is a male officer on their mobile. The discussion outside seems to be about sports, a local football team.


Both the officers and the gang members snap to alert when a sleek black sedan pulls up. A man gets out of the front passenger side and opens a door to the backseat and a young man of Chinese descent perhaps steps out.

He approached the officer and shook her hand briefly before he went inside the building. Two bodyguards are shadowing him as he walks through the black market. He gets to the Champagne Room and uses some type of security scanner, maybe biometrics and then goes inside.

That was concerning. Her instincts told her these were gangsters. And those two cops were just hanging out. But maybe they were gathering information, too!

Still, it wouldn't hurt to catch their names and badge numbers if they were displayed.

She starts looking also - all throughout the room, the sleek sedan, the Chinese man, etc., eyes everywhere - is there anything that connects this place specifically with the Brass Orchid who Steel Mosha works for? Are those words anywhere? Is there a logo? That the man is Chinese is certainly suspicious. The Brass Orchid Triad operate out of southeast Asia and northern Africa in the wake of the grand migration during the Chinese-American War.

She resolves to watch for the Chinese man when he comes back out of the room, and try a mind read to learn more about who he is, what he's doing, what his goals are. Of course, he might be strong willed.

(Pending that action until his business is done. That gives others plenty of time to do stuff...)

Frankie had no fear. Of anything, really. Which usually was an advantage. Except for when it wasn't. Like maybe now. Because she decided to try and get into the champagne room, like the boss ninja that she was. All stealth like, make it to the roof, find an open window, that sort of thing.

Sure, she could've just teleported inside, but then other Frankie wouldn't be strapped anymore. And she was watching out for her alternate self. So the hard way it was.

The hard way was either too hard, or she was just taking it *too* easy. Because she wasn't managing to be quite as stealthy as she thought.

Camilo was getting the feeling this was not the type of scene he had come here expecting. Maybe he could still browbeat his way in somewhere. But he would give the others a chance to do their thing before he stepped in. Unlike some Elite's, he didn't feel the need to make everything about him. In the meantime, he messed around on his handheld concocting a little something.

Frankie had found a way inside and then trying to penetrate the Champagne Room seemed orders of magnitude harder, the security was very high both with skilled guards and high tech equipment and probably other more esoteric forms of security.

So when she hears the click of a pistol and the feeling of someone behind her a voice speaks in Chinese, “Looks like we caught ourselves a nosey rat.”

The same female voice continued in Amharic, “I got you dead to rights, laowai. Turn around, slowly.”

She would've totally had a bitchin comeback to that... if only she knew what was being said. But she didn't, because she didn't speak Chinese. Or Amharic, for that matter. So she didn't know to turn around. Or at least, she didn't know she was being told to turn around. But she did it anyway, because she was kind of curious who was talking to her and what they wanted, and so on.

"Huh, this isn't my room," she said, upon seeing the gun, fearless and everything.

“British?” the woman said in accented English. She gestured with her gun to start moving and said, “Let’s get moving, you come alone? You might want to choose your next words carefully.”

She said more words in Chinese as she tried to lead Frankie back to the main black market area.

Frankie, being either too brave or too stupid for her own good, stayed where she was.

"Hold on," she said, "I got questions, yeah? Like, I'm looking for someone that passed through here a few weeks ago, yeah? It's super important I find them. Trust me. You don't want everything to blow up."

A victim of the classic hurry up and wait, Camilo turned to his cameraman to provide some narration, "You see, we are not just the fly in and bash things type of responders. Our jobs as Justice Elites would include the stealthiness, the infiltration, and the investigation. Frankie has infiltrated the den of criminals without them being any the wise. This ensures our safety, the safety of the civilians in the area, and even the criminals' safety. For this type of criminal, it is important to gather the evidence and build a case for the local authorities." He looks over to where the police are standing ideally by. "Although maybe sometime the local authorities are part of the problem... Maybe you should cut that part out. No?"

Camilo jumps a little when Frankie II speaks up, "Meu Deus! I forgot you were there. We must wait for Frankie One and Bea to finish the reconna... reconni... the scouting. This is not open club to go in and party, sadly."

Her *danger sense* might help her know whether to take action. If the woman was going to shoot that gun, hopefully there would be a moment to try to stop her.
