Night on the farm (day 3, MN)

She followed Frozen Shadow just as carefully

''I'll check the room downstairs then, never know what on may find, but let's go upstairs first.''

She eyed the farm

''You always stay here? It seems boring...''

[Frozen Shadow]

"Weapons dealing is a step down from what he's done in the past" the girl said as she moved into what was a kitchen area "close the door, I'll put on a light and unlock the basement then."

Once the door was closed and the kitchen light was on she moved to unlock the heavy looking door to the basement. Now actually in the light Galatea would be able to see that the girl was relatively small, quite thin, and along both of her arms were faded looking but still clear scarring. From what it wasn't clear, but one could guess likely guess based on where the main parts were - around her wrists.

She pulled the door open.

"Fair warning there's no way out but this one door. No windows, nothing."

[Galatea]

''Ominous'' she eyed the room, flashing a light in. ''As I said, let's go upstairs first. I'll try to scrub the history of the previous searches as well so that no one finds this place the same way I did''

[Frozen Shadow]

The light would show a staircase down and that was about it.

"Well it was used for getting information from people that didn't want to give information, or so I'm told. I'll give you the key when you go down, but upstairs it is."

She slipped past, heading up the stairs quickly and walked down to the room where Galatea had slipped a note into before. Unlocking it and entering. On the floor and all around were files that had been opened and stacked in different places, with a few on the floor. One of the files on the floor having a picture that stood out.



The girl hopped over the papers, went over to the wall and started plugging things in before turning the computer on.

She surveilled the stacks of paper.

"Looks the same as he did before too. Ah, there, it's on now" the girl said as she stepped back "hope it has more, I've gone through everything here now on paper."

From the files:

In the file with a photo with a sticker that reads Eric Gibson. The case file status is listed as On Hold on the cover. Case File 347-G. The folder is for an incident of piracy that seems to have been resolved by a local Elite named Teshay Moqe, the goods seized were traced back to illegal weaponry and gear sold by a weapons dealer named Eric Gibson with ties to Rising Eagle but seems to be working with a mercenary outfit called Mokele Mbembe.

There are potential sightings of Eric in Mudaba Adin as recent as last week, though these notes are handwritten on sticky notes attached to the interior of the file.

On the conspiracy board she sees the same picture of Eric and a sticky by it with Project Oz and a question mark. There is no mention of Project Oz in the case files or others she can glance through but there seems to be dozens of such files and folders around the room.

On the written pieces of paper by the files written in quite poor handwriting:

The case files do not mention Project Oz, but they do show a pattern of Eric Gibson working for high paying criminal groups and mercenaries building weapons or equipment up until about five years when he seems to go into business for himself and played the role of middle man and smuggler.

It looks like one of the missions ended up with several of Janet's team being killed or injured when hit with an ambush by powerful remote controlled robotic platforms. These Units were strong enough to do battle with Charlie Class elites.

Arachnea took not of the paper and started taking pictures

''Robotic platforms...that sounds familiar. What is project Oz? Might be the problem we aim to solve''

She turned to take the laptop

''Let's see what's on this'' She powered it on and got to work

[Frozen Shadow]

"Despite it being some big thing, she hasn't referenced it in a single document here" the girl replied with a small shrug "either even Jane doesn't know, or it's something so secretive that it can't be stored on paper. Only technology. I hadn't heard of it before either."

The computer loaded to a login for SAJForester to some kind of UNJE network.

(ooc likely need Dapper at this point!)

Arachnea did not want to switch forms at the moment so she'll have to do it the old fashioned way...but something eluded her. It might be the system's code or an unkown firewall

Something is triggered in the hacking attempt and the system says the account is now disabled.

"What did you do?" the girl asked, her eyes narrowing.

[Galatea]

''Not sure. Something got triggered'' she cursed herself internally ''Well only the basement is left now''

[Frozen Shadow]

There was a pause, and a breath taken, before she nodded.

"Let me disconnect this then. Hopefully Jane don't get wind of this or Ima have to deal with what she asks" she moved over to disconnect it from the wall before moving to the door again.

[Galatea]

''Feel free to tell her there was an intruder'' she replied, following her ''Don't get into trouble on my part''

[Frozen Shadow]

"I'll come up with something" the girl said with a shrug, leading out of the door and locking it once Galatea was out before she moved down the stairs. As they got to the bigger door she turned and held out a key.

"Here. I'm not going down, and this is the only key. I don't want to go down there again and I know I wouldn't be comfortable going down to somewhere like that without the key. You're welcome to test it to see I'm not lying about it being the key."

The girl took some steps back and let her either test or go down or both.

Arachnea picked up the key

''What's in this room then?''

[Frozen Shadow]

"It was used for getting information out of people who didn't want to cooperate from how it was explained to me" the girl replied with a shrug "whether anyone got stored there I don't know. It's the only room I didn't explore, but if it was used for...that kind of stuff it might have something."

[Galatea]

The frown through her mask was visible

''Torture?'' she made a motion as if spitting on the ground ''Nothing good comes of it ever. I understand why you don't want to go there.'' She breathed in ''I'll tell you what I find''

And she got down

The girl had moved to sit down away from the door. She was keeping an eye but otherwise did nothing to approach.

There wasn't a lot of light however down the stairs it looked like a normal basement but there did look to be steel hooks from the ceiling, or holder. Nothing had been touched in some time.
