That conversation on the phone last night popped back in her head. Even the mad scientist who had briefly incarcerated her was questioning things now, so why had Frankie stopped questioning these past few days? Could Eric Gibson really be trusted? Where was Eric Gibson? WHY was Eric Gibson? WHY was the other mad scientist? Why hadn't the marmite and potato crisp sandwich combo taken the world by storm yet?

It was time to question things again, yeah?

So, maybe; she figured; she could do a bit of snooping around. First, there was the obvious thing of teleporting herself back to the lab she'd been incarcerated in. But instead, teleport herself about a kilometer *above* it. Wouldn't want any of the 'an intruder has teleported into the lab' alarms to go off, after all.

It would also give her a chance to test out her new 'i can see dimension shit' ability by looking around as she fell, flailing wildly, from the sky.

The power to sense dimensional effects! Over large distances!

She can see some distortions around the campus most are focused around a large dome like structure, but otherwise nothing more specific as she fell through the sky.

WHY was dome?

She teleported until she was in the sky above the dome. Then she just fell onto the dome's roof. Which was fine, because a flock of geese broke her fall just as she was about to hit the dome. The geese were fine. Probably. Maybe she had made an enemy out of them, but geeze were dicks anyway so that was bound to happen regardless.

Anyway, once she was no longer falling, and safely snuggled on the dome, trying to keep from sliding off; she teleported *again*, this time *inside* the dome. Which may or may not defeat the purpose of avoiding the 'teleporting intruder' alarms; but those also might not actually exist. Besides, she was totally trying to be stealthy about it.

She was inside and the structure was a massive indoor facility, open with lots of floor space for various projects. She was unseen by the scientists and even Eric Gibson who was having a conversation with a woman who seemed to be in charge as people were deferring to her.

She was currently super hidden.


Then a hologram image appeared next to her and said in French, “You are not supposed to be here.”

"Good, because I'm not here, you don't see me," she said back in whispered French.

"I am seeing you from many different angles, Frankie, why have you returned? This is a restricted area of the campus," the hologram responded in French.

"Duh, to investigate, of course. There's dimensional stuff happening here, yeah?"

“This is all proprietary technology of Infinite Horizons, you are conducting an illegal investigation at best and at worst corporate espionage,” the hologram responded.

“Please vacate immediately.”

"Relax," she said, "I'm not a cop or a spy. I'm just trying to save the universes."

She ignored the hologram and tried to stealth closer to Gibson and the woman who was apparantly in charge, hoping to listen in and associated other stuff. Which may or may not be difficult with this hologram following her and knowing she was here.

Alarm klaxons sound.


The hologram said, "You are an odd one, Frankie."

"Fuck! Why didn't that work!?"

She broke her super stealth from wherever she was, and pointed straight at Eric and the bosslady.

"Alright, now someone really should tell me what's going on here, yeah?"

“Really Frankie Reynes, you should have called ahead if you wanted answers,” the woman said in English with a French accent. “Breaking in where you are not wanted, is quite illegal. Could cost you your license if that matters.”

"Hah! Joke's on you lady, it doesn't!" She crossed her arms as if in having just achieved a victory by way of superior retoric.

"Besides, saving the multiverse from imploding is more important than keeping a license, init? Surely we can *all* agree on that, yeah? Anyway, I didn't catch your name, yeah? And listen, I don't want to be difficult, yeah? I don't bloody care about whatever corporate stuff you're doing or whatever so long as it doesn't blow up the universe or hurt anyone, yeah? I mean I could get out the dimensional detonators and level the building if I wanted to be difficult, but wouldn't it be better to just be friends and talk it all out so we can save each other's arses and everyone else's while we're at it?"

She held out her hand. "Whatta ya say, pal?"

"Does threatening people normally work for you?" she asked. Cyborg enhanced security officers start arriving to surround Frankie.

"Sometimes," she said, "Isn't that what you're doing with these guys, though?" She vaguely gestured at the security officers.

"Come on, bruv, let's just talk yeah?"

"You broken in to a secure location, not sure how things are done in your home reality but we take that seriously here," she said.

"You are not dead, yet, so speak."

OOC: She has the dimensional reality glow.

"Yeah well, in my home reality we take the threat of reality ending very seriously. More seriously than you take breaking in to a secure location!"

Got her!

"Anyway... did you know you have dimensional stuff on you? You're not from this reality either, are you?"

"So you can see the reality fluctuations, curious," she said with a slight cock of her head. "I am still not sure how you can help me, or anyone."

"Lady, I *am* the reality fluctuation. And the eldritch space gods of time and space told me that I wasn't the only one disrupting reality. That there was another. And then they name dropped Eric here as one of those *clue* things I've always been hearing about. And then I find you're bossing him around, yeah? And you got the dimensional glow about you. So, something's going on 'ere, yeah?"

"...what is it that's going on here anyway?"

"You think far too highly of yourself," she responded.
