Galatea presented herself to the doors of the Infinite Horizon campus. She had been so overwhelmed since yesterday...it took forever to find some time to meet Ayesha.

They bring her directly to Ayesha, she is working on experiments with the door. She turned and said, "Hey gurl, working on some plans for the UNJE."

"You okay?"

''Your gurl is exhausted. At least it's the good kind of exhaustion.'' she replied in all transparent honesty, taking a few steps towards the door ''The UNJE tasked you to study it? Can I venture guessing it has to do with yesterday's assault?''

She turned to Ayesha

''And you are you allright?''

"It's pretty much our top priority, the Herald put the fear of God in them," she admitted. "I am... fine. I really try not to think about it, I already have several letters to sign and paperwork to help affected employees and their families. We lost forty-seven personnel, with families that rises to sixty-eight."

''Fuck'' she shook her head ''I am sorry to hear that, you and yours have my condolences. I was at ground zero...the herald's power was no joke. Taking this seriously is warranted indeed.''

she sighed

''Not sure how or even if I'll get involved in this as I am unsure on how the UNJE will react to my streak of independence during the broadcast.''

"I don't think it will be... positive," she admitted. "I am scared, the UNJE is scared... and I gather lots of people are scared."

''And they are letting that override their common sense. I understand their line but it lacked critical foresight.''

She frowned

''I simply could not do otherwise''

"To err is to be human, gurl, ain't that the truth," she said.

''Quite'' she turned ''What's your opinion on this situation? Did you manage to catch the dimensional signature after the attack?''

“Same resonance as where we sent Nuani after the door activated, so I am guessing the same location, dimension wise,” she replied.

We have tried to hone in on it, but we must be missing something. Like encryption, is the best way I can explain it. If this is a species that can do that, I am not sure what they can’t do,” she admitted.

''Don't lose heart dear. If they have the same resonance then we can use that even if we can't pinpoint their origin'' She had a thought ''Could you make a scanner that detects that resonance?''

"Yeah possibly, it's on the to do list for sure," she admitted. "I am not giving up just trying to logically parse what we are facing."

''I understand'' she quirked an eyebrow ''Is Eric Gibson still on your staff?''

“Eric Gibson has taken a hiatus, he resigned shortly after the Door was completed. Given everything I now know about him and his roles with my sister, it’s for the best and also not great. But honestly just glad to be rid of the man, knowing his full backstory,” she admitted.

''A shame, I wanted to know about Golden Eagle and his other projects. You have a way to contact him?''

She pondered the door

''What do you hope to do with the door beyond understanding it? Does the UNJE have a clue of what they'll do next?''

"I can see if we have anything that can help, not my department," she admitted. "I think we, mainly the UNJE wants a way to reach other realities for say support or perhaps evacuation... it's unclear. But if we understand the door then we have another tool in our arsenal. I am sure the Young Revengers are part of that strategy, given their willingness to help us."

''Evacuation? Of whom? The wealthy and affluent I suppose.'' there was a clear edge in her voice ''Tchk''

She took a moment to center herself

''At any rate I am available if you want assistance. I was part of the team that designed the teleportation device Arachnea showed you''

"I hope not, I think the current plan is as many as possible if the worst cannot be avoided otherwise a lottery based on genetic diversity," she said.

"But this is just talk right now. The UNJE would appreciate the help."

''I am sure they would'' she replied with a bit of snark ''As long as I keep my head down and don't say a word they'll happily take my work.''

she shakes her head

''But I am not ready to consider an evacuation yet. I don't think the enemy to be invincible.''
