by Dapper Dog
While not the whole city was in a state of disaster much of the city suffered and the UNJE and the local emergency services are engaged with recovery efforts to find survivors and remove debris. Efforts are moving at a lightning pace as they have access to high technology and a great deal of elite support from the UNJE.
OOC: Make a skill check or Power check, at DC 20 to aid the efforts. Players can make one roll per time slot, and use a different skill or Power check each time.

Bea was working on searching for survivors when a group of looters came through, taking supplies from a store with broken doors and windows.
She tried to use her powers to calm the crowd. It might have worked if they had been looting from anger. Rioters. That's what she had experience with back in Oklahoma city. Rioters who would re-think their actions if calmed.
But these folks were just hungry. She could see it on their faces as her calming power made no difference at all.
They were just taking food from an unguarded partially collapsed grocery store.
Was she really going to stop the hungry from taking food? She hesitated and did nothing more to stop them. She gave them directions to the temple where they could get all the supports they needed.
She made note of the store's name and location. Maybe she could just see if extra donations could be given to the grocery store so they could eventually recover and resupply.

The first responders were overwhelmed by the magnitude of the disaster, and so Thousand Miles took a turn providing first aid and basic medical treatment where he could.

Frankie finally did the whole 'trying to perceive' thing; by looking for more survivors. But she could not perceive. She could not perceive at all. In fact, when she tried to double-check to see if she wasn't doing something wrong in the perceiving, she could literally perceive herself getting less perceptive.

Taking a break later in the afternoon, Babble sat down and connected with the local network. He did what he could to connect and streamline various online efforts to get aid and support where it was needed.

The long hours of work took their toll but they were in the last stretch. Shifting to her amazonian form she began some serious herculean heavy lifting shit to bring some relief to the crews. Her impressive physical efforts where a sight to behold!

by Camilo Batista
His brute force approaches had been in vain for most of the day. Taking a step back, Camilo decided to approach this not like he did a combat, but like he did when healing. Put himself I the place of the one he was helping. When the sky started to fall, in all the panic and disorder, what would they be doing, where would they seek shelter?
Moving between fallen buildings, Camilo put himself in their shoes. Blinded by dust and debris, deafened by the cacophony of destruction around them, where would they go? Stumbling across a squat , sturdy building with a mangled car blocking the entrance, Camilo slid it out of the way and opened the doors to find a family cowering inside, "I've got survivors here!" He called out to the first responders while touching each person with a boost of healing.

Uri-el's final feat was a true return to form: pulling no less that 15 people from the upper levels of a compromised skyscraper without so much as disturbing the dangerously leaning building.
