[Frozen Shadow]

There was a quick turn and a long look. even without being able to see her face the look would feel...frosty.

"....Excuse me?"

''Ayesha Hall'' she repeated ''Confirmed Elite?''

Galatea moved near Shadow and put a soft hand on her shoulder

[Dapper Dog]

"Confirmed, no, but suspected, high probability," she replied. To Frozen Shadow she just shrugged and then said, "It's not always the end we want."

[Frozen Shadow]

Shadow was on her feet in a second, fists clenched.

"No you don't. You don't get to just 'oh shit happens' this! Who cleared him? WHO?! Tell me!"

[Dapper Dog]

“It’s classified, the file is sealed, and I mean I lose my job level of classified,” she said honestly. “I know he hurt you, and he’s an asshole, and assholes like him will get what they deserve. I promise you.”

[Frozen Shadow]

"No you don't" the girl punched the desk "I don't care about your classified. Tell me, now."

[Galatea]

"You said he had powerful friends, dear. Nazi scientists were recruted by the US in operation paperclip...it would make sense a gouvernement would recruit someone like him"

[Dapper Dog]

"I can't, I am sorry," she admitted. "But if he is up to something now, I will nail his ass to the wall."

[Galatea]

"I know of someone who might be able to offer that opportunity agent Forester"

[Frozen Shadow]

"SHUT UP!"

The girl with one arm swept everything off the table, plates and food crashing down.

"I don't CARE about your stupid classified! This is your final chance. You will tell me, or I will assume it's you. It's the UNJE. You protected him. You pardoned him. Did you work with him? Did you support the man the tortured me? That took my parents from me? That took my LIFE from me?"

She hit the table again and moved closer to Jane, so the woman could see past the hood into the girls eyes. The look was menacing. The tone was threatening. She was serious.

"Last. Chance. Or. Else."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am on your side, even if you want to think otherwise," she said with a heavy, frustrated sigh.

[Frozen Shadow]

"No."

There was a shake of the head.

"You chose my torturer over me, and now you protect him. Why would I ever think you were on my side? Why would I ever think you were any different to the others? I gave you all a chance and this is what I get?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I am choosing to help you, but you can believe whatever you want," she said with irritation. "I am headed out."

She turned to leave.

[Galatea]

''I doubt agent Forester is her entire organisation, dear." Galatea inserted, trying to diffuse things ''All organisations of that size have bad actors here and there...it doesn't mean agents like her agree with those decisions or can't try to make things right in the future.''

[Frozen Shadow]

"I know."

The girl pushed off the table as she looked over at Jane.

"Just like I know I'm not the only person to lose someone to him am I Jane?"

She paused at that, to let that sink in for the moment before she continued.

"But if you're not willing to work with me then you're protecting him. And if you think I'm going to just sit there and smile and say 'oh well shit happens' when you say that torturing children including me was just pardoned like that then why do I have a reason to believe the UNJE are any better than any of the Pantheon groups that I drove away that tried to recruit me? That you can't even say attempt to deny that tells me that it was the UNJE that did it, wasn't it?"

[Dapper Dog]

She grabbed her jacket and said, "Just be safe out there."

She departed.

''She was only trying to help you, you know'' Galatea said after a long sigh

The girl moved to looking out of the window. Watching Jane drive away. Quiet for a few moments as she processed things in her head. After a short while she spoke.

"...She planned all this. Now it makes sense. That final piece slots into place."

[Galatea]

"Planned all of this? Can you explain?"

[Frozen Shadow]

"Come with me" the girl turned to walk out of the room to head to the stairs.

"I wasn't supposed to be on the farm here. I was intended to be staying at the institute, but...I was surprised after arriving here being told that. I reacted badly. Jane then offered me to either stay at the dorm area, or stay here where I'd be alone."

She got to the top of the stairs.

"Alone, where I'm more comfortable. Where files are kept with one left open, the only one left open conveniently on his photo. Where I was shown the....basement almost immediately."

The girl unlocked the door to the computer room, then went to the drawers.

"Then this as well."

She took out some photos and handed them to Galatea.

There is a personal photo of Janet with her arms around a young man, he looks to be between twelve and fifteen years of age with mixed heritage. She looks younger here as well. The photo is faded, on the back is empty.

There are a few more personal photos, one is a selfie of the same kid, and then a picture of a team in urban camo gear. She is on the right end and looks younger here as well. There are five members on this team.

"They were killed by Eric Gibson. And Janes hands are tied, she can't deal with him because he's cleared and the man is too smart to offer himself up freely again. So I'm brought over, offered a space to stay at a location with all the information on the man that tortured me for years freely available. At the same time that he is starting a new business here, and travelling to the country. He arrived back recently in fact. That's a lot of coincidences to happen all at once. Janes knows my file, she knows me. She's been my liaison for long enough now between the UNJE and myself. "
