"Definitely." he assured her. "What I am wearing isn't much different, traditional Filipino formal wear, with a little extra color."

“Okay, I just need to calm down, but I am just a little…” she said before taking a breath and then said, “Do you know any of these people, I think I met maybe one of them. Or at least it looks like her,” she admitted.

"Would a drink help?" he asked as he led her further into the gala. "Most of my housemates are here. I can introduce you to them. I have met Tsehay Moqe. She's involved in the show. She looks about as comfortable as we are."

"Wise King Solomon, indeed." He smiled, still keeping the Spanish flair. "Pleasure to meet you, Dawit. That's some well needed work in those areas. My full respect to those who offer aid a la gente en necesidad., to those in need. Hopefully this will be a rewarding evening for you and those you wish to help." Raul kept the smile up as he looked over at the party, his gaze catching upon Ynez about to leave the room before returning his gaze over at the others. "I do not doubt Bea could help you coordinate that; she is quite the talented woman."

Bea smiled at Raul's words. "You are too kind."

Dawit nodded. An approving look. "Each area has its Relief Society President, who works alongside the area President and their counsellors. Wherever Beatrice makes her home, it would be a wonderful opportunity for her to lead."

Bea blushed. "That's the women's association. They help the women of the congregation learn welfare principles such as work, self-reliance, provident living, personal and family preparedness, and compassionate service of others. They organize local charitable projects. It's where I learned what I know about emergency and hardship intervention."

A few minutes of discussion and then the group went out to a balcony area while Ynez remained behind and then made her approach towards Gauss.

Once within comfortable speaking distance she said in Spanish, “That is a rather handsome costume, it looks familiar. Is it a dashing hero?”

When Ynez approached and spoke to Gauss in Spanish, she didn't interrupt them. But she gave the model a friendly wave, and turned to Dawit and said quietly. "This is Ynez who was part of my team in the viral video. She and LD," she pointed him out across the room, "were very thoughtful to agree to advertise the veggie smoothies, rather than any caffeine product. Everyone in the competition has been very supportive of my faith."

Galateas had to move to do small talk and exchanged plaisanteries. After a moment she managed to spot Arturo and what appeared to be his date.

She smiled to herself and moved in to greet them

''Good evening Arturo! Glad to see you did not backtrack on your decision to come in your barong. I am sure your mother will be pleased'' she turned to the woman besides him to introduce herself

"Hiya Uriel," Miles said as he collected his drink. "Just reconnecting with an old friend. It's a small world...apparently. How's your evening going?"

"I find these things uncomfortable." He shivered. "There is much I do not understand about how people relate to one another, but I do hope to learn."

"Oh, hello Galatea, Hi... I am Hanh," she said nervously. "Everyone here looks so fabulous. I looked at the minimum bids on the auctions and was dead. So much money."

"I guess people find your vibe a little intimidating," Miles said sympathetically. "Seeing as your drip is literally fire, you may seem a little unapproachable. Maybe you could start conversations with 'Fear not!' or 'Be not afraid!' to help put people at ease."

"That may be more of a 'physician, heal thyself' situation. I am at least as afraid of them as they are of me." He smiled, not at all disarmingly. "You know, I had the pleasure of meeting Zara myself recently, in a slightly different context. She seems to have lots of connections." He glanced over at Mr. Chang. "And ideas."

"What do you do, dear? Do you have pictures of your works?"

“I… I have some pictures of a mural and some stuff on my IG, I really need to get that together. It’s all still kind of new to me. I did a mural for an animal shelter and have some sculptors, and yeah…” she said.

"What can I get you to drink?" Arturo asked Hanh. "I'll go get it, while you show Galatea the mural."

Miles nodded. "Zara always had big ideas," he agreed. "Did she persuade you to support the Cause, too? To be fair, it is a good cause that doesn't get as much attention as it probably deserves."
