[Day 6 - MN] Party like a Warlord

Next followed a very thin man in a purple ensemble smoking a cigarette, a walking corpse almost, the skin pulled taut over silvery bones that peaked out in places. He adjusted his shades and said, “Groovy, boss, looks like we finally scored big this time.”

“Name’s Samedi… Samedi Jackson,” he said with a toothy skeletal smile.

[Dapper Dog]

Then came Street Witch and the portal closed behind her.

[Uri-el]

Hm, thought Uri-el, Miles will be surprised. He looked for an egress.

[Babble]

Babble looked around. "Now what?"

The room had one way out and no windows, it seemed like a meeting room and outside they could hear machinery, maybe maintenance equipment. Street Witch turned to Iris and said, “You said, you could give us the layout.”

[Iris Pythia]

Iris had her camera half raised to take a photo of diablo.

"Sure, let's see what we're working with."

Her brow furrows slightly and eyes open up along her arms and face as they start to glow slightly.

"Right, so here's where we are, and here's the layout."

She pulls out a large sketchbook and starts to quickly draw.

Iris got a great layout of the ship, and even caught sight of Nuani Kagumbo, she seemed to be down in an engineering area workin with a team of scientists or specialists on something. It was hard to tell what, but she found her. She also could see the area where they could momentarily disable the ship according to the earlier schematics.

[Azrael]

The monster woman spoke, in accented English, “Samedi, Street Witch, with me, we have our target… you go and disable the ship, then we meet up.”

She then tossed Iris, a small communicator and said, “We converge when mission completed.”

[Iris Pythia]

"Uh." Iris catches the communicator awkwardly.

"Right. Good luck?"

[Uri-el]

Uri-el acknowledged the command from the 2 meter tall doom-mama.

"Iris, would you also happen to have an idea of our coordinates?"

[Iris Pythia]

"So long as we're within a couple hundred kilometers of a coastline. Or I guess if I had a map of ocean floor topography I could look down."

[Babble]

Babble pulled down his hood to get a sense of the signals around them.

There were signals all over, radio and digital, it was a cacophony of signals inside this ship.

[Babble]

He winced amd grabbed his head. "So loud..."

[Uri-el]

Uri-el frowned. "Are you going to be alright, Babble?"

[Babble]

He pulled his hood back in place. "Yeah. I think so. There are a lot of signals here."

[Iris Pythia]

"Let's start moving then, get this done soon I guess. Not sure what the others are up to but it might get loud."

[Babble]

"Yeah. Let's go." He agreed. "I may find a more direct way into their systems along the way." As they moved, he kept an eye out for WiFi nodes, fiber optic cables, or other ways he could connect with the ship's network.

[Uri-el]

Uri-el followed them out of the room, and out of Azrael's earshot. "Pantheon's involvement isn't precisely what I had in mind for this. I am concerned that the outcome is not going to be what we had hoped. I wonder if there isn't a different angle that does not end with Pantheon armed with Kagumbo's tech--and her multiverse research."
