Speaking to the AI digitally, he asked. "Would we be able to log off and lockout all users of the ship systems except for you and myself?"

The AI responded, "Most users, yes, there are a select few that have higher access than myself to the systems and some are still onboard."

The AI responded, “Of course.”

Then the data being fed to Babble becomes literally incomprehensible, it is no known language that exists that he is aware of. It has no construction or formation similar to any Earth language he is aware of and he is aware of all of them.

Uri-el strode into the chamber, took in the ranks of weaponry, and did the only thing he could think of that would let them get out of here without either getting shot up or having to incapacitate or kill (God forbid!) everyone in the room.

He unfolded his wings, widened his eyes, and shouted.

Strictly speaking, of course, he shouted "kneel" in Coptic. It was the first thing that popped into his head. No one (except Babble) could be expected to understand the instruction as a matter of course, but then the instruction was hardly the point. The point was that a man--or was it an Angel--with light and fire streaming from his eyes and mouth, three pairs of enormous wings, and a sword was bellowing at them with a voice of molten iron.

That usually got the point across.

"ELSI, I'm shutting down all nonessential systems including the hardsuits and all other weapons." He explained to the AI. "Can we take control of navigation and propulsion?"

“Yes, we can do… do… SCREEEEEEEEEEEE.... error…” and then all systems go dark. The communicator came to life and they hear Street Witch’s, “Think we just flatlined their systems, ready to blow this thing?”

"What's gong on?" Babble asked. "We had control of the ship."

“Didn’t seem like it,” Street Witch responded, “Azrael had to smash several of their toys. Samedi Jackson has the explosives in place around the ship. We ready to leave, we don’t want to be here when the authorities arrive.”

"We just seized control." he said. "I've locked them out of ship systems and the crew has surrendered. We don't need to blow it up. The weapons can be destroyed and the ship can be repurposed. At the very least, we need the information on their servers."

Samedi Jackson floated up through the floor and smiled saying, “Everything is set, I got eyes on the house slaves. We got a minute, you finished doing whatever it is you’re doing?”

He was fully materialized now and let out a deep drag from his cigarette. “Damn girl,” he said to Iris, “I love a woman that can see me at every angle.”

Malik began to do the math. Three of them, many ship staff, two magic-based opponents, one serious combatant, lots of explosives, water. Could they take Samedi? Unknown. Could they take Samedi and Azrael and Street Witch? Probably not. Let Babble try to persuade, that could work. Meanwhile, if they truly did not care about these people, perhaps they would just let them go.

He turned to the techs. "Evacuate the ship," he said, pointing to the door. "Quickly."
