[Pre-Game Tuesday 10th - MM] Frankie Friday on a Tuesday

[Kim Jun-Min]

The Frankies had been invited to the home of Kim Jun-Min, out front was a rather sporty red electric sports car and a well-kept lawn. They were invited inside but Jun-Min and brought to her office, it was a nice relaxing atmosphere with comfortable chairs and soothing soft music.

Kim Jun-Min wore fashionable casual clothing, but still appropriate for an office with designer dreams and stylish sweater over her blouse. The interior was modern, spacious, and seem to evoke space and style.

And was that incense?

Jun-Min smiled and said in English, “Welcome, both of you, ADINA filled me in on the situation so why don’t we start at the beginning. She turned to Falling Frankie and said, “Can you tell me how you got here and what happened before you got here and more about the Free City-State of London?”

Real Frankie; that being herself; sat in her chair and looked between Miss Kim and... herself, still wondering what was going on... and also wondering why it felt like she was in group therapy. She wasn't *crazy*, after all. There really *were* two of herself, if nothing else.

"Oookay," she wasn't sure if they were just humoring her or what, but despite *seeming* like a therapist, she seemed nice enough so why not tell it like it was?

"So, I was just back at my ends, back in London yeah? It's just, London town innit? This one 'ere seems to think that's weird or anything like London isn't real or something, but I don't know what to tell you about it that's so special. It's got the Thames, it's got the M25, it's got the Croydon Exclusion Zone with all the monsters, it's got Big Ben and the bridge, and all of that and such. Still going strong after '16, and '21, and '26, and everything in between too."

She shrugged, "So anyway, I was just thinking of heading on over to Camden for the markets yeah? I can get there pretty much just like that from my home, just doing my usual 'poof, oh shit, I'm there now!'. Except then suddenly I'm falling down 'ere instead and going down pretty hard at that too. Which I guess is pretty weird because first of all I'm pretty good at falling usually, but also I've never poofed this far before."

The real Frankie gestured toward fake Frankie, “Monsters? See she’s the crazy one!”

“No one here is crazy,” Jun-Min said sternly to Frankie.

“Now, can we go back to this Exclusion Zone, how long has then been in place? What are these monsters or creatures there? And can you elaborate the significance of ’16, ’21. And ’26 are those years or something else?”

“I know this may sound silly but what year is this, Frankie?” she asked falling Frankie.

Now it was her turn to stare at *them* like they were crazy.

"Seriously? It's 2032 of course. And who doesn't know about '26 at least? I mean I know there was a lot going on around the world but an alien invasion of London *definitely* makes it to the news no matter where you're at. Okay, okay... fine, so..."

She raised up her fingers, counting as she went along.

"'16 is when the old people held that stupid vote to leave Europe, yeah? Talking about how there were too many foreign supers coming in and 350 million pounds better spent on their own supers, or something. And then they went and did it, and so we over in London held our own vote and decided to split and stay with Europe, yeah? Then '21 is when that group of supervillains let that mutation serum in that dirty bomb explode and the London Revengers couldn't stop it, but nobody cared because it was just Croydon right? So they just quarantined the place, but a few ghouls get out every now and then to make trouble in the neighbourhood."

“Aliens didn’t invade anywhere in ’26, yeah, you bein’ cheeky, yeah?” she responded.

Jun-Min remained calm and just took notes and then said, “Who were these aliens that invaded London, and this let’s call it Brexit of '16, is that why you are the Free City-state of London? Did aliens invade anywhere else in the world? Do you recall the Chinese-American War, started in late 2013?”

She brings up a modern map of Great Britain on the monitor and added, “This is the current state of London and Great Britain, but for you this map is not your reality, correct?”

"Nah, I'm not," she said to... herself. Or other self. Or fake frankie, whichever it was.

"I don't know who these aliens were; nobody does. They just showed up, shot up the place, then buggered off when a bunch of superheroes banded together and did the usual thing. I mean, that kind of thing happens a lot, but still, it was a pretty big deal at the time. As for...Chinese-American, wot? Maybe it's you two having a laugh. Pretty sure the world wars only went up two, not three like a war like that'd be yeah? And I mean, London's in the right spot, but the border's along the M25 ringway."

She shrugged. "Look, this is all pretty confusing, but I'm pretty used to that. Not this confusing stuff in particular, but confusing stuff in general I mean. So, are you two having a laugh or are you being serious?"

“Fake Frankie, love, I swear on the King’s life… nope, me best mate’s life I am not havin’ a laugh,” she responded.

Jun-Min took more notes and then listened to them banter before adding, “Frankie, I believe you. But it may become worthwhile for us to compare events of what you recall and what we know to be true. But this is a good starting point. You mentioned superheroes. Was Justice Elite involved in beating back the aliens?”

“Or were these other individuals? You mentioned the London Revengers, who are they?”

"The who? Justice Elite? Never 'eard of 'em. They some kind of local superhero team? London Revengers are like, local branch of the West Coast Revengers, which... is a local American branch of *the* Revengers. Which is itself like a reference to something else? I dunno. Just one of the big superhero collectives or sumthin'. Actually I don't even know if they're all part of the same outfit or if they're just riffin' on each other. You know how superheroes are, always with the drama and the switching team rosters and capes. I could never sport a cape. I mean I could, but I won't."

Jun-Min took more notes and then responded, “Alright, I appreciate your honesty. And as for the Justice Elite they are the premier team for the UNJE, they are some of the most heroic Elites in the world.”

She turned to the other Frankie, “What do you remember before coming here, is any of this familiar to you?”

Real Frankie took a deep breath and then said, “Okay, so I arrived here just a couple of days ago, yeah, from London where I was crashing with me best mate. No family, yeah, dad died in the Chinese-American War and mom got the cancer couple years later.”

“No alien invasions, but umm… yeah so I gets this invitation to the Institute because I am an awesome Elite, yeah, got the cool powers. I am kind of shocked like how did they know… how did they find out but it’s the UNJE, right? They got all the fancy toys.”

“Still no aliens,” she joked and then continued after a look from Jun-Min. “I show up here, get setup for this Elite Academy and got my schedule. Graphic Design, yeah, I always liked stuff like that. Then a crazy person teleports into my room with me face on em’ and starts all this drama.”

“Oh Yeah, Michael Bay is not my boyfriend, just didn’t want you to melt my face with your hair dryer of doom, yeah.”

"No, no, mom and dad died in the blip when I was a kid," she muttered, shaking her head before listening to the rest of it patiently.

"Okay no, first... *Graphic design*? Really? I don't even know what that *is*. Two, I *totally knew* he wasn't your boyfriend! And three! I mean, *you're* the one who threatened to have him beat me up! I was just standing there with a hair dryer!"

"What's a blip, are you trying to say blimp?" she responded.

[Frankie Reynes]

"You guys didn't even have a blip? What the... you know, that thing when a whole bunch of people around the world just suddenly blinked out of existence? Come on... you didn't have that? Ugh, I didn't make that up, I'm not crazy. If I could just make stuff up, I'd be making up better storylines that don't involve me ending up in that bleak orphanage. At the very least it'd be a not-bleak one. But I guess then it wouldn't be very realistic, because those places are always bleak, yeah?"

Jun-Min interjected, “No blip, but we did have the Mexico City Event, where the whole city just vanished in a flash. It was one of the more horrific events in recent history. If you are willing we could try an unorthodox measure.”

“But I would need both of your consent, it requires me linking our minds together and we can explore memories.”

[Frankie Reynes]

"Is that like a superpower thing, or like a stage hypnosis sort of thing, because I saw a guy do that once with an audience member and made them think they were a dog who could only bark, but I think that might've just been a repressed kink thing or something because I don't know if I believe in hypnosis. But if what you're talking about is like real and isn't going to overwrite my personality and make me adopt her crush on Michael Bay as my own, then sure, I'm in I guess."

[Ultimate Frankie]

“I am not crushing on Michael Bay, he was just there… and kind of hot, but literally hot,“ she responded angrily.

“But yeah I am fine with yah scramblin’ my head, yeah.”

Jun-Min nodded and then held out her hands to the both of them and then added, “Hold hands, and just relax do not fight the process and we should appear in what I call the mindscape and from there we can traverse memories.”
