[Day 10 - LE] Live Reunion Show

[BadWitchPatel]

The main room of the home has been turned into a large studio with several chairs for the contestants to join on stage and at the center is BadWitch Patel to moderate the show. She is seated and the show has a live broadcast feed of online fans with tons of questions and feedback.

Th show generated a lot of online discussion and people have their faves and their enemies, online while everyone loved Galatea she also got a lot of hate because the showed her as aloof and standoffish and a bit arrogant. Frankie came off as weird and eccentric but people loved her crazy attitude. Thousand Miles and Ultimate Frankie were given very positive edits.

In some cases it may been six months or more since people have seen each other. There is a comfortable chair for every contestant on the stage.

OOC: I leave the details of what people did outside of the outline for the daily up to the players.

[Frankie Reynes]

I'm sitting in our hidden space. Koyaanisqatsi starts playing over the radio. Frankie is in the kitchen, making us all sandwiches. I feel fear, for the first time in my life.

A circulatory system is drawn by Frankie, by the perimeter. She's one of the infinite frankies who are in medical school. We're not sure what that means for the state of medical science in those universes.

Reality tears inside the studio, centered on one of the chairs, and suddenly Frankie is sitting there, having not been back in this universe for some time. I start to consider the possibility that nobody will understand the referential humor, in part because this is all just a monologue in my head that nobody is privvy to, yeah?

Frankie waves and puts on some sunglasses.

"I'm back, bruv."

[Thousand Miles]

"Heya, stranger," Thousand Miles said, lounging in one of the chairs set up for the contestants. "Which one are you? You're Ninja Frankie, right? Or maybe Umbrella Frankie?"

[Galatea]

It was showtime indeed.

Galatea entered the stage under thunderous applause and cheers, far enough to drown the more negative reactions brought on by the show's deceptive editing. She had ensured that reaction by making sure she would have a good amount of people sympathetic to her words and message in the audience.

She had both the means and a healthy distrust of the UNJE's heads to manipulate this in her favor.

She was wearing a dazzling ivory taffeta long skirt with a masterfully embroidered mesh top. The beautiful embroidery featured white feathered birds native to Brazil. The attire blended the elegant and the risqué seamlessly.

She waved towards the crowd and took a seat near Frankie

Arturo entered next, carrying Dumpling in his arms. He sat next to Miles.

[Bee Haw]

Bea arrived, dressed as she usually did. Yellow shirt, black kerchief, yellow skirt, black boots.

She'd been working in the background to keep the experts at the table, Pantheon and UNJE and baseline, altogether, to problem-solve the invasion.

And she'd worked through the LDS church and its substantial resources and clout to bring together an ecumenical council - from the Pope down to the Catholics, from the Dalai Lama to the Buddhists, from one faith leader to another. The faith leaders knew the truth early, and took it seriously. They were ready with the theology of multiple universes, and the unifying call to action. The faithful were well-organized and zealous, and deeply compassionate. They were organizing training and investment in emergency response. Getting communities as ready as they could be, if the event could not be prevented altogether.

Throughout, she'd been herself. Honest, earnest, hopeful, using her persuasive words and powers to help people work harmoniously together. And mostly in the background. Getting the right people to the table and then helping them shine.

They'd kept her screen time brief on the show. But that was alright. There had been nothing that could discredit her. And she wasn't doing any of this to be rich or famous. She just wanted the world to survive!

She took a seat by Galatea and Frankie. It would be nice to see her old friends again. All of them.

[BadWitchPatel]

BadWitchPatel playing hostess said, "Bee Haw, you look wonderful and it has bern so long can you fill our audience in on what you have bern doing?"

"Arturo, I see you brought Dumpling, have you two stayed busy?" She asked.

"Frankie and Galatea, both look great, what's your beauty regimen?" She added.

To Thousand Miles, "The magical Thousand Mles, how have you been? You know everyone wants to know everything about you! So dish."

[Babble]

"Dumpling insisted on coming. He still considers the house to be part of his territory. " Arturo explained. "I've been spending most of my time in the lab, developing a few new ideas. Nothing exciting, I'm afraid."

[Bee Haw]

Bea smiled.

"I've been providing my eye-witness testimony to what happened that awful day six months ago. It's helped galvanize lots of communities, particularly communities of faith, to help explain what this all means theologically, easing a lot of troubled hearts, and encouraging the faithful to use their time well to get ready. 'And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'"

"The Church of Latter Day Saints is working with the Catholic church, with the Buddhist church, with all the faith leaders who will listen and pass the word. An ever-growing ecumenical coalition! We all have in common a desire to do good and to protect the vulnerable. There's a lot of emergency preparedness training happening. And that will be good for communities, no matter what happens. More folks trained and ready to help in the event of any natural disaster or accident or invasion. Neighbors ready to help neighbors."

"But I'm still hopeful the herald's invasion can be prevented! Bright minds are looking at options, sharing what they know. UNJE's at the table, and lots of others. Elite and baseline. Folks from Pantheon, too." She didn't hesitate to give them credit. They weren't all equally committed to selfless goals, but some were at the table and helping. And people ought to know that.

"Everyone on earth has in common a desire to save this word and all its peoples. We have to work together to make that happen!"

[Galatea]

Galatea gave a polite applause to Bea's words before answering BadWitchPatel question with a warm smile

''Thank you dear, I must return the compliment: say you look as fashionable as ever!''

She gave a pause

''I'd like to talk about that but I was not briefed by the UNJE as to what I could or couldn't say on this panel. I am not sure if you or the audience knows this but they already blacklisted some of us on here for being truthful about our accounts about the extra-dimensional assault nearly six months ago, myself included.''

Her smile was feline

''So I'd hate to get people here in more trouble for being honest.''

To Thousand Miles, "The magical Thousand Mles, how have you been? You know everyone wants to know everything about you! So dish."

"Well, BadWitchPatel, as you probably know, between supporting the UNJE press tour and publicity for Elite Academy, I've been simply swamped," Miles explained with a practiced smile - an expression that had been carefully honed over months of public appearances. "I've had to dial down the amount of TikTok content I produce quite a bit, though I do plan to host a 'share a coffee with Thousand Miles' event in Barcelona next month just for subscribers - sponsored by Elite Chai."

"We're all very concerned about the inter dimensional threat, though. Frankie can speak more about the details of that; but for my part, I can say that I helped with backup vocals on Sakura Red's new single to raise awareness of the cross-dimensional danger. That should be coming out next week on all the most popular streaming music services."

[Camilo Batista]

Arriving late, Camilo glanced over those present, his eyes lingering on Frankie a moment longer than the rest. He offered his fellow former contestants a wave and silently took a seat next to Arturo. He leans over asking in Portuguese, "Is this live yet?"

He nodded and replied in Portuguese. "We just started the first round of questions.. How have you been?"

Frankie just sat there, slumped in her chair, listening to what was being said; her sunglasses hiding the eyerolling she was doing at the question about beauty regiments.

"Oh, there's like this slug cream in Universe 313 that does wonders for the skin?" she quipped at that.

"We are very live, Camilo," she said warmly. "Thank you for joining us."

To Thousand Miles she said, "Oh you know I will be there in Barcelona, your events are simply amazing. Really just one of the most down to earth elites and personable people I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. Oh how is Sakura Red, everyone is talking that you two are really goof friends, can you speak to that?"

“I am not aware of anything about that, but I am sure the UNJE appreciates your presence and work towards a better and brighter future for all humanity. But I just want your honest answers, whatever that may be,” she responded.

Bea had smiled at Camilo when he came in. A friendly wave.

She kept an eye on the place where folks were coming in. Would LD be here? She was hoping to see him again.

No follow up question for her. That was okay. They'd let her talk about her work over the last six months and that was great. Keeping experts talking to each other had meant keeping UNJE at the table with Pantheon and the baseline scientists and military planners. And UNJE had repented and abandoned their lie. You had to support people who redeemed themselves, however disappointing their earlier action had been.

She felt sure she was still blackballed from any team or paid role, but time had proven that her initial words were honest. Everyone watching knew that.

She nodded at Galatea's words. Galatea had spoken truthfully before, and did so now.

[Ayana Kebede]

Ayana was already seated and smiled and when addressed said, “I am glad to be here, and I am proud to announce that I have been selected by the UNJE and the Mudaba Adin local government to fill the role left behind by Tsehay Moqe , who will be leading the Elite Guard. I will be the official defender of the city as Tidal Wave.”

She smiled brightly.

[Ultimate Frankie]

A monitor is lowered and brought up the face of Frankie, well Ultimate Frankie and she said, “Hey BadWitchPatel, sorry I could not be there, but they have my in New Zealand. The work never stops. Oh hey everyone it’s great to see the old crew, yeah. I have missed everyone, but I am glad to see so many are doing well, absolutely brilliant.”

“Bruv, I can’t say I know anything about people being backlisted, Galatea, but it’s good to see you, init. I think we can all agree that the Pantheon Network should be nowhere near the table, yeah, they are dangerous and are only out for themselves.”

She added, “Thousand Miles, looking good, mate. Loved your new song, well Sakura Red’s song, but you made it pop.”

[Camilo Batista]

"You can keep worrying about your tables until the Ultrum take over our reality. No? If I didn't know better, I would say whoever is pushing this narrative of divisão is trying to make it easier for the Ultrum, maybe working with them. No?"

He looked to Bea, remembering what she had theorized the day after their Herald had delivered her message. He thought it extravagant and unnecessary at the time, but maybe there was truth to it. Maybe the Ultrum weren't as strong as they seemed.

“I am not sure what you mean by tables, but I am glad you are so focused on this event,” she said with mild confusion to Camilo.
