"Not exactly like it, obviously." he shook his head. "But, combat armor that I could communicate with directly, allowing it to enhance my physique and training. That would be nice."

"You had me at build an awesome mecha," he said with a grin.

"A techie after my own heart." he grinned. "At the very least, I can make schematics and dream."

"Not much. Just some real basic stuff." He brought up a few unfinished ideas on his computer. "Most of my studies have been fully focused on computer science."

[Markus Reed]

“Not bad, mind if I use these as a basis? I can probably put something together,” he said. “Computer science was one of my callings, was it your powers that drew you towards that or something else?”

[Babble]

He sent the designs to Marhus. "Being able to read and write code quickly made it a natural choice. But, as I explore new forms of language, my interests expand."

[Markus Reed]

“Oh yeah, what else you into?” he asked as he started looking over the schematics while accessing the other machines remotely.

Arturo can see many waves of communication coming into and out of Markus.

"Body language is important when speaking with animals." He explained. "That's true for humans as well, but it can be very subtle. I'm still learning how to read people. That's part of why I began taking martial arts classes."

[Markus Reed]

"You gonna punch people into understanding," he joked.

"More like understanding when and how they intend to punch me." He responded. "Not that it matters if I don't have the skills to take advantage of it."

[Markus Reed]

“You know I have made it my life mission to just not get into fights? It seems terribly unproductive and I find violence to be just a waste of time. Humanity spent so much of our history killing each other, it’s like why are you not bored of this?” he responded.

[Babble]

"I agree with you. But, there are clearly people out there who feel they have to fight for something. Some of them might even be right." He shrugged. "But, we need people who can protect those who can't defend themselves. Especially against threats like that suit."

[Markus Reed]

“Well it is said that a good defense is a god offense, or something. A noble justification but sometimes a misguided one,” he responded.

[Babble]

He nodded in agreement. "Violence should be a last resort. That may be why the idea of an empty suit being remotely controlled to kill someone bothers me so much. When you aren't putting yourself at risk, going to extremes may come easier, detached from the consequences."

[Markus Reed]

"Sound strategy to me, why risk your life needlessly," he responded. "I admire that aspect of the design."

"Oh, it makes perfect sense. If you're committing to violence."

[Markus Reed]

“Yeah I suppose it does. But hey, let’s not get bummed out about that,” he responded. “We got ourselves a mecha suit to build.”

“I bet I can convince Dr. Patel to get us some resources.”

"Really? I suppose it could be a project for my internship." The idea excited him.

[Markus Reed]

"Yeah exactly, let's write it up. Make it look professional," he responded. "Then we can get some resources and assistance from ADINA."
