"Shit this seems easy, just skip to the end where you crown me the King. Cause I'm seein' no competition here, but my girl Baddie Bea, and we already cool like the Arctic."

Bea had blushed red at this but smiled at Lil Disaster.

He knew this world. People liked stories with conflict and bluster.

She was glad she'd had the chance to talk Ms. Patel. Be yourself. That could mean something different for each of them. It should mean something different for each of them.

She turned her attention to glancing at the other female contestants. Which ones looked like nice potential roommates?

Max offers a small snort that he does his best to smother but smiles. "Thanks, you too" his eyes glimmer with amusement, but it's not hard to hide being a bit starstruck

"We're honored to be greeted by the Lady of the Sun," Miles said, joining Arturo in addressing Tsehay Moqe in Amharic.

Tsehay Moqe was heartened by the warm response and said in Amharic, “You have all already impressed me with your bravery and willingness to come forward. It takes a special kind of person to put the needs of others before themselves and risk their own lives for the sake of others.”

More fashionably late than actually late, Raul enters the welcoming ceremony, eyeing the room to see the competition before him. Some he met, some he had not, and one practically fell into his lap...and has a fraternal twin. Some were arguing with Lil D...which, having watched his content before arriving, was probably justified. He had the clout to be here, but that was only part of the game.

At least for the moment, that could wait. Time to hit up the refreshments and see if he could grab a drink. What is the legal drinking age here, anyway...
