She can get out there and get the cable car moving into reverse. The cold was numbing and biting as the blizzard felt like it intensified.

"I don't see anything, the winds are really strong, the car is swaying," the person replied. "I.. I think we are going back down now!"

The cables look strong for the moment but the mountain side not so much, she can see the individual snowflakes shifting, becoming a greater tide of snow and debris.

An avalanche was coming.

Several eyes all widen at once.

"Uhh guys, there's an avalanche on the way."

She starts looking around for anything useful, cover if it was coming for them or more info if it looked like it was going to hit the survivors.

The avalanche would crash through the four survivors, it might miss them due to their height, but it would damage the tower system and definitely hit the cabin.

[Babble]

"Attention cable car passengers, be aware. We are expecting an avalanche to fall at any moment. Brace yourselves." Arturo broadcast. Muting the microphone he looked at the others. "What are our options? Can we speed the cables up? It would be dangerous, but probably safer than an avalanche."

"It might take down the towers so then we'd need a manual rescue. But I'd rather they were above the avalanche rather than in it....we uhh should start bracing too. Can't save them all if we're buried in snow and ice."

[Galatea]

Meanwhile Galatea was at the lift, running around in circles to keep warm, keeping an eye on the machinery

Arturo rushed outside, to see what could be done.

"We need to speed up the cables if we can!" He shouted while looking around to see how much danger the cabin was in.

They can hear the rumble and feel the earth shake under the power of the approaching avalanche.

OOC: Technology or Vehicles check at DC 22, but there will not be enough time to get back inside to avoid the avalanche. They need at least two degrees of success or they will be caught outside for the avalanche.

This can be a Team check if they wish.

He worked quickly to help Galatea get the car down before the avalanche overtook them.

The cable car is sped up but as they finish they are caught in the avalanche of snow and mountain debris. It smashes through the towers and Elites. It smashes into the cabin, and through windows.

OOC: Those outside make Toughness checks vs. DC 22, while inside the Cabin Iris can make a Dodge check at DC 16, on success it is a DC 19 Toughness Save and failure is a DC 22 Toughness save.

The cold also requires a DC 17 check or be Fatigued if already fatigued it becomes Exhausted.
