With the ai thing gone Shadow turned her attention fully to the other woman.
"I can...be elsewhere. If You want. It doesn't look like it will rain so there is plenty of field or beach to sleep and I come back tomorrow to go to this farm."

“Cause it’s what I would want if I was your age and had a shit hand dealt to me. My life was never that bad but I have had grown folks let me down and it sucks kid. So I am just trying to do right, and plus it’s my job to be your pseudo guardian and keep you out of trouble. Don’t make it that deep,” she responded.
"Fine" the girl replied, sitting back down again. She fell into silence for a while after that, holding her bag in front of her and leaning her head on it. Staring off into the distance.
Eventually she asked "can I go inside?" and looked to the other woman.

There was a small nod at that, and Shadow stood up. Quickly making her way inside. There was a few moments of taking a look around but not too long as she went looking for the shower room. Locking the door and wedging her bag against it as well before she finally took some time to shower and clean up. Longer than she needed to but it helped her calm down and reorganise her thoughts.

The rest of the evening went by quietly. Shadow kept to herself for the most part. At some point the food that had been made for her by Eskander and Sharetha mysteriously vanished so Janet could be confident the girl did indeed eat, and when the morning came around Shadow was still there.
