[Day 1 - ME] Welcome to Elite Academy

[BadWitchPatel]

BadWitchPatel entered wearing a glamorous gown that shifted colors and spoke to the cameras, “You have seen them on your screens, heard about their battles, watched them changed the world but tonight we get to see what life is like for Elites. In conjunction with the UNJE we have an exclusive all access pass as we watch these young Elites show the world why they should become members of Elite Guard the newest team for the UNJE led by the Vietnamese sensation Lisa Singularity.”

The center of the room bends and warps, a miniature rupture in time and space forms a spherical object, the center is black, all absence of light and then it pules outward and there standing in the room is Lisa Singularity.

She crossed her arms and said in English, “Thanks, BadWitchPatel. I look forward to seeing if these Elites have what it takes to represent the UNJE.”

BadWitchpatel continued, “Lisa Singularity will be one of the judges, along with Tsehay Moqe," who entered from the same door that the hostess came in. "And of course, Paragon." The skylight opened as he descended from the sky to stand with the other judges.

She continued, “Tonight is a chance to get to know your fellow contestants, get a feel for the house and prepare yourselves for the challenges ahead. So I welcome all of you to Elite Academy!”

Once satisfied the hostess turned her focus to the contestants, “Okay the rules; you will be filmed most of the day at school, work, or here. No filming in the bathrooms and after lights out which is 2200 on weekdays and 0100 hours the weekend.”

“You can use your mobile devices and even post to social media but it cannot be in an official capacity on behalf of the show and no filming of challenges or decisions. If you have a question, bring it to a producer or myself. The judges will be looking at your performance in challenges and your daily footage. So, someone is always watching.”

She continued, “There is a Confessional room, and we encourage you to use it. You have to stay at the house and there is a Girl’s Wing and a Boy’s wing, choose the wing you best identify with. ADINA is available but you will be responsible for making your meals, but you are allowed one meal delivery per day for the group.”

“Challenges when they happen will be brought to you in the morning via that monitor,” she pointed. An alarm goes off and then stops, “This alarm will alert you that a Challenge has been issued. Best of luck when that happens.”

“Finally we will be filming for the next fourteen weeks and the show will air in the summer, you will be held by NDA not to reveal the results until then. All of this was in the contract but I wanted to repeat that for all. If you have questions, I am here for you,” she finished.

[Paragon]

Paragon was here, observing.

[Tsehay Moqe]

Tsehay Moqe smiled and waved at the contestants.

[Frequency]

Max scans the room as he enters, taking a deep breath and trying to project an air of confidence. He has a large group of bags that he made a point to stow with care, making him late as he looks around.

OK, do I know who the hell anyone here is?

He is answered as the bigwigs enter and give The Talk, making him scan the room to see if anyone is piping up.

[Thousand Miles]

“Finally we will be filming for the next fourteen weeks and the show will air in the summer, you will be held by NDA not to reveal the results until then. All of this was in the contract but I wanted to repeat that for all. If you have questions, I am here for you,” she finished.

Miles raised his hand, then asked, "Will the challenges be more cooperative, or more competitive with the other contestants?"

[BadWitchPatel]

“The Challenges will always be an unknown quality until the day of when they are announced. Just be prepared for anything,” BadWitchPatel responded.

[Dapper Dog]

“I like to see you think on your feet and adapt and overcome,” Lisa Singularity added.

[Thousand Miles]

Miles nodded. "Quick thinking, ready for anything. Got it."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Story of my life," she said; though she wasn't sure if it was ever actually possible to be ready for *anything*. But maybe her standards of 'anything' weren't tuned properly in comparison. Like for instance suddenly being in a reality show that you never knew existed and hadn't signed up for. But whatevs, she knows how to roll.

"So, just to make sure though," she raised a hand, "We can like, go around and do our own thing outside and stuff yeah? I mean, like we live here now but there's no bomb collars around our necks that explode when we step foot off the grounds or anything yeah? Because some of us need to like save the world and stuff maybe sometime, so we can go outside and do our own things yeah? But there'll just be cameras around? How's that supposed to work when some of us can just like, poof, and be somewhere else?"

[BadWitchPatel]

“Well we have a great team and they have worked with Elites before, we have staged teams around the city just in case. If you go real fast well, maybe tell us where you are going so we can meet you there or we get you a gopro,” the hostess responded.

“I know we can do it.”

[Babble]

"For the purposes of the production, is there a preferred language?" Arturo asked.

[Galatea]

How do you appear to be fashionably late while giving you against accusations of tardiness or lack of discipline? Simple: be there before anyone else to ready your room and, at a strategic time, go in the ladie's room for some last minute prep to your entrance.

Galatea did not need to make a spectacle or cause to draw attention. She she had to be there.

She silently entered the hall as the questions were asked, answered and rules discussed. Moving through the crowd with casual grace she took place a a point where she could see the assembly...where she would also be seen, obviously.

Tonight she wore a sleek satine carmine red 90's slit minidress with jet black high heels. She wore no rings or jewelry, instead going for a simple black silk ribbon around her neck, lipstick matching the dress
...obviously.

"For the purposes of the production, is there a preferred language?" Arturo asked.

“Speak whatever language you prefer, it’s the future baby, real time translation is a thing. We want you to speak your truth and express the best version of yourself, Arturo. Be your most authentic self,” she offered.

[Lil Disaster]

"I'm always real dawg, Lil Disaster, but ain't nothin little about this D, yah hear me?" he said from his spot against the wall. "Shit this seems easy, just skip to the end where you crown me the King. Cause I'm seein' no competition here, but my girl Baddie Bea, and we already cool like the Arctic."

[Camilo Batista]

Camilo scoffed at Lil Disaster. "It's always the yappy little dogs who are all bark and no bite. Overcompensating for something, yes? I guess that is why they call you little D."

[Thousand Miles]

"I'm always real dawg, Lil Disaster, but ain't nothin little about this D, yah hear me?" he said from his spot against the wall. "Shit this seems easy, just skip to the end where you crown me the King. Cause I'm seein' no competition here, but my girl Baddie Bea, and we already cool like the Arctic."

"It's kinda sus that you keep going off about your 'little D energy', if you ask me," Thousand Miles said, squaring his shoulders as he gave Lil Disaster a glare. "No one's going to be crowned 'King' - it's the judges who are gonna decide who the Main Character is."

[Lil Disaster]

“The Haters always reveal themselves,” Lil Disaster countered. “It’s the judges who’ll decide, man you sound like a pussy.”

"Talk's cheap, Lil D," Miles replied, his face tight with scorn. "If you don't respect the contest and the judges, why are you even here?"

[Camilo Batista]

Camilo sent a knowing smile and a thumb's up Miles' way before turning back to Lil Disaster. "You seem very obsessed with the genitals. I think if you take a psychology class, you will learn much about yourself." Camilo groomed his mustache while putting an his best Austrian accent, "How was you relationship with your mother, hmmm?"

[Lil Disaster]

“Maybe for you small timer, I just made ten g’s spittin’ fire at your punk ass,” he said with a smirk. “If you going to whine like a pussy then why are you here? Ain’t nobody want some punk-ass pushover Elite. I get’s mine.”

“You alright, why you making your balls fetish everyone’s problem?” he said to the other heckler.
