First come, fist served (Day 1 EM)

[Dapper Dog]

"That's rough buddy," he said.

[Galatea]

Galatea had been preparing an order of breakfast sandwiches while Miles spoke. Bacon and Eggs as it were.

''If media had it's way I'd be Paragon's new paramour but that is quite incorrect.''

[Dapper Dog]

Chadwick’s eyes go wide, “Wait I saw that, that’s you!” he suddenly had visions of {Paragon turning him into ash with his laser eyes. Nope.

Nope.

But those legs… okay, maybe.

Nope.

But the yams.

Maybe?

He could probably take Paragon, if he had to. Maybe? Chadwick added, with a tinge of hope, “So… that’s not true?”

[Galatea]

''Nah, just a friendly meeting.'' she could guess where this was going ''I am not really looking for a relationship anyway.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah me neither, too busy on this rise and grind," he responded quickly. "Oh, I need to check something in the back. Keep up the good work."

He went to the back.

[Uri-el]

Uri-el returned from the sweet asylum of the alley wearing a frown as he scooted to the side to allow Chadwick to pass.

He reached the front counter and heaved a slow sigh.

[Galatea]

''Welcome back Feathers. The back alley brought you solace for a moment?'' was her greeting to Uri-el as she crafted a mokaccino

[Uri-el]

"One must know one's limits. I thought perhaps the assistant in training could use a demonstration of what to do when one is outmatched by their situation. A pity he elected for more direct instruction."

[Galatea]

Galatea quirked an eyebrow

''Outmatched?''

[Uri-el]

"I could not act as I wished, and did not know an alternative, so I ceded the ground to one who was more free to act and more capable than I. I will review the footage later to learn from the expert, and perhaps next time I shall not need to retreat."

[Galatea]

Galatea tilted her head

''That's a very robotic way of thinking. What's you train of thought here?''

[Uri-el]

"Being robotic I concede. That is the problem. I have not had much experience with people, so I need to learn from people who have."

[Thousand Miles]

"You mean you're a robotic flaming angel?" Miles asked. "That's pretty sweet. Aside from not being able to get out and meet people, I guess."

[Uri-el]

"No, I am not literally a robot. But I had to concede that I have a different perspective than most, to which I believed Galatea was referring. It's true that I do not socialize much, though. Clearly."

[Galatea]

"Hmm" she pondered the situation "Well...that just won't do. You'll have to be better socialized."

She turned her gaze to Miles

"Do you think you can be up to the task Thousand?"

[Thousand Miles]

"Sure, what say we all go out together clubbing sometime?" Miles suggested. "Do you like dancing?"

[Dapper Dog]

There is a crash, and then the door opens and out comes Chadwick looking fairly disheveled tangled with a mop. He added, “Yeah… we should all go out… you like dancing, Galatea… uhh… other guy?” he said to Galatea and Thousand Miles.

Not that he was listening, or anything.

[Thousand Miles]

"Uri-el, the robo-fire-angel," Miles helpfully reminded the assistant-manager-in-training. Surely he couldn't have forgotten Miles' name, after all!

[Galatea]

She wondered for a second which would be more cruel: bring Chadwick and his delusion along or leaving him out entirely. He was annoying but she knew she had that effect on people...even the ones entirely devoid of rizz.

''Well...there is more to socializing then clubbing but...'' she shrugged ''...sure, why not.''

[Uri-el]

"Clubbing? Hmm...that will be new."
