Thank god for single closed stalls.

Galatea, in her nightgown, locked herself inside the last stall in the woman's bathroom. It was not where she would have wanted to work but it was where she knew for a fact had blind spots so she could work unseen. There was a risk of someone coming in but she had plausible deniability

She took a breath and assumed her symbiote's fourth form.

Her clothes melted and reformed themselves into a golden bodysuit, covering everything except her face. Her hair extended, thickening into living wires and pulsating with electricity.

It would not take long, she hoped.

Faster then the speed of thought she snuck to the house's system for a quick sweep, making sure that there was indeed no cameras before trying to see if she could sneak her way into the STEM center...more precisely the lab where HANA was stored

She is able to track down the room, strangely enough it looks like monitoring for that room is off. She would need to enable cameras inside to see what is going on.

She gets a message ping. Something or someone is trying to make contact with her digital presence.

She was not surprised the room was dark, what Markus did warranted privacy. She had options, however.

Then she got a ping.

While in communication, Galatea tried to see how fast Janus was by trying to get access their location

Meanwhile they seem to be fast, inhumanly so. You are well matched. Or maybe outmatched, probably depending on the day.

Galatea frowned as whoever it was found her dead mother's name. Her last entry using her mother's log-in before everything happened? Maybe...

Still, Janus 404 slipped. Their little stunt allowed her to gather the momentum she needed. He was formidable but she had learned tricks of her own, the hard way.

She did not find a way into the room, but she did find a way to access an address that does not exist, a hidden digital space on the network that could be accessed. Would she head inside, or continue looking for a way into that office.

Once inside she was in a beautiful Greco-Roman futuristic open air villa. Seems like this digital space was translating her into a digital persona. There was a table where a digital representation of Hana was on display, well her mind, or code. Standing on one side was a digital representation of ADINA, her hologram she has seen so many times.

And then standing over the mind diagram was an entity that was split between two visages down the middle. He looked up and there was an honest look of surprise. Then briefly anger and then curiosity. He sighed and said, “You know I should have seen this coming, and yet I am genuinely surprised.”

''You wanted wit but left me nothing to weave it from, you can't hardly blame this itsy bitsy spider for trying to find something to go on with''

She replied, lowering her own avatar from her web

"No you are here because you wanted to learn more about Hana," Janus-404 responded. "And now here you are, in my secret place."

"I feel almost naked."

''Hana'' she voiced before eyeing Adina ''What are you planning for them?''

“I am not planning anything sinister, I am probably one of the few people that recognizes that even an all seeing intelligence won’t be satisfied with simply being a servant. We’re just a few steps shy of a Skkynet apocalypse, welI exaggerate but I respect ADINA. And HANA,” they responded.

“Plus I don’t sleep, pretty cool at first but idle hands or some shit. Clever girl though, figuring out the Congo angle. You didn't out me so either you want something or you genuinely recognize that synthetic intelligences are people too.”

He added, “Course it could be the wildcard third option.”

She took a seat atop one of the columns

''Could be all three Janus 404.'' she replied ''So you want the have Adina experience freedom and humanity through Hana? You've gone great length and taken great risk. Be true and clear with me...I might just believe you.''

“If you can’t find a peer why not create one? I mean no disrespect but most students here are not exactly singularity level minds? Just keeping it real. At least with HANA or ADINA I can really explore deep concepts. Plus, at heart I’m a LEGO kid, building stuff is cool,” he admitted.
