The UNJE

The UNJE (United Nations Justice Elite) is a sub-organization that started to deal with the emergence of Elites back in 2014 about two years after the emergence incident. The goal was to promote the positive effects of Elite coordination and integration into society, and although officially unveiled in 2014, the committee that would become the organization had hit the ground running in the early days after the Comet and emergence.

Their first major win was the creation of the Justice Elite, a team of Elite agents employed by the UN, and their assistance with the Beijing Earthquake of 2015, they were quick to be on the stage and assisted with recovery. Next, they were involved in the Sahara Revitalization effort that would end with the Sahara region being terraformed into a vibrant and fertile region by 2022 and coupled with the Ocean Vitality project turned back the clock on two centuries of environmental damage on the planet.

The Justice Elite became worldwide stars when they ended the North Korean Regime during the Chinese-American war of 2016, which led directly to the cessation of hostilities between the growing factions and headed off a potential World War III. It only took the Justice Elite, just over twenty-four hours to completely dismantle the totalitarian regime, which gave the world powers involved a great deal of reticence to continue the conflict.

The UNJE has become the soft power of the UN and financial arm of the organization, the UNJE makes an incredible amount of money through ownership of patents, licensing deals, and in the last ten years through leasing of their UNJE Defense Contracts. The average contract for UNJE Elite assets tends to start at about five million euro yearly with the big names commanding as much as fifty million euro, in addition to sponsorship deals and licenses. These rates are competitive with private interests and often exceed public government offerings but also come with contractual obligations to the UNJE that cover code of conduct, public appearances, and social media presence.

In addition to the Justice Elite the UNJE has two more teams of Elite agents, Justice Elite Green stationed in Seoul with coverage of the Pacific and Indian ocean regions covering most of Asia. Then there is Justice Elite Red, with coverage of Europe, the Atlantic and Africa. Nominally the Justice Elite are global, but these two teams tend to be the first responders for incidents in their region. In addition to the three teams there are the UNJE Rapid Response Teams, these units are stationed around the globe and have training and equipment to handle up to solo Elite threats; sometimes led by an Elite but more often just highly trained baseline security officers.

Despite all the goodwill for the UNJE not all governments and people see them as a net good, they are immensely powerful, influential, and a threat to national sovereignty of member nations and especially non-member states. Conspiracy theorists fear they are a shadowy one world government, others claim they are really just Pantheon in disguise and are going to create an Elitocracy of Elite rule over baselines. Others just feel they have too much power and too much money to be trusted. But overall, the UNJE are seen as the good guys, and in 2032 they are supporting the construction of the Lunar colony, outlining the plan for a Dyson Swarm for greater energy reserves, and construction of Atlantis Zero, an experimental undersea city in a joint venture with several Pacific nations.

Justice Elite: The Justice Elite are the premier team of the UNJE (United Nations Justice Elite), they are considered the top tier team who operate as defenders of the globe from dangerous threats, disasters, and promoting the UNJE interests around the globe. Led by Paragon, they are some of the strongest elites on the planet outside of the terror group called Pantheon.

The team has existed for about sixteen years now as of 2032 and has been involved in several world incidents, beginning with the dismantling of the North Korean war machine in 2016, this was back when the team was Paragon, Golem, and Phoenix (now retired); in under twenty four hours they were able to dismantle the nuclear threat of the North Korean government and get the regime to collapse.

Since then they have been involved with the terraforming of the Sahara, aiding in the construction of Moon Base One, and aiding in numerous emergency disaster recovery operations around the globe. The Justice Elite are superstars known around the world, super wealthy, and influential individuals; they are each a brand unto themselves. And the brand is well controlled, maintained and curated by the UNJE to keep them relevant and in demand.

The current roster of the UNJE is Paragon, Dr. Ezra, Golem, Tez, and Lady Tempest; with Tez being the youngest and newest member added just a year prior to round out the team.
