But instead, she was here, slumped against a wall, going "Ow... ow... ow," face covered in blood from all the... well... blood... that had come out.

The news about the cops was no surprise to Camilo. In Rio, the police was the biggest gang in town. Guns, drugs, people. It all was all done by them, for them, or with their permission. Of course, things had been mostly different in Rota, but he was still new in Mudaba Adin.

"This is the way of things. No? People in power use that power for themselves. It is why Pantheon is what it is.

Let's focus on finding... Meu Deus!" He exclaimed on spotting Frankie I. He rushed over to take away her wounds.

Framing her face in his hands, he channeled his abilities and she began to feel better. At the same time, blood poured out of Camilo's eyes and ears matching Frankie's blood stains.

She turned to the others.

As they spoke, the bloodflow tapered off, albeit more slowly than it had for Frankie.

"I'll be fine. Very interesting, exsanguination or something like a hemorrhagic fever." He adds the last after Frankie's mention of a contagion, although he didn't feel like it was spreading or that the veins were damaged. More like something was unnaturally pulling the blood out.

"Give me mais um momento and this will stop."

He looked to Frankie II and couldn't help himself, "It seems there was bloody contact com o inimigo."

Bea was still looking at Camilo. Worried. She untied the black kerchief around her neck and offered it to him to mop up the blood.

But he said he would be okay. She looked relieved at that, but watched closely. Hovering.

"The Brass Orchid woman did have blood powers," she confirmed. "She drew the blood from you with a mental power, Frankie. And then ... she tasted it. The blood. I don't know if that's important. Maybe she can learn something from it? Or it helps her track you?"

"Here's what I learned from her mind. Wah Shen the son of a major big wig in Shanghai is here visiting. He is likely the man from the sleek car who entered the Champagne Club room. They were all on edge because of his visit. Maybe we could research him? The police there had been paid off to keep the peace while they dealt with this problem."

"I got their names and badge numbers. I want to alert the Detective that I met. So he can deal with that part."

"Alright, alright! Stop shaking me! There was like this... vampire or something in there yeah? She spotted me and so I decided to roll with it and asked her some questions, and she wasn't answering them, and so I asked them again, and then suddenly I started bleeding from my eyes, and then she like, copied my power, sort of. Probably with the tasting you mentioned. Oh and there were alarms, and I think they're probably still looking for me."

She remembered that Camilo and Not So Bad Frankie hadn't actually seen much of the interior.

"It was a large black market. All kinds of goods. Exotic animals, weapons, tech. The poor animals weren't treated well and the buyer could just slaughter them if they wanted. I don't even know if that's illegal here. But it is terrible."

"But there was one inaccessible room inside marked as the Champagne Club room. I couldn't get in, in my bee form. The door just didn't open that often and it was very well guarded. The arriving man, Wah Shen, walked in. Frankie tried to sneak in behind him, but got caught. She was trying to do the right thing. She was trying to be stealthy and unobtrusive. He was just really well guarded."

"The guard woman immediately pulled a gun on Frankie, but used the blood power instead."

"Definitely Brass Orchid. And they are the ones Steel Mosha works with. The ones responsible for the apartment bombing."

"Wait, what inacessible room? You mean the one with the scanner thingies at the door? There was just a bunch of aquariums and a kid with a mop behind that one... or are you talking about some other room? Cause if there is, then I can get in there."

"This one here said 'Champagne Room' in Amharic. It seemed like, layout-wise, that it was a separate connected building. A warehouse connected through that doorway?"

Camilo held out his hand to refuse Bea's neckerchief. He didn't want to get it messy and was used to being covered in blood. Although it would be good to give it a rinse off so he didn't stand out so much.

"Who is this Wah Shen? Is he someone worth calling in backup for? If he's big in Shanghai, the UNJE might want to grab him up... Any sign of our scientist, Gibson?"

"Anyway, don't know about the dude. Didn't see the Gibson."

"If they raise the alarm again, I go back and tell the guard my other woman is still inside and I'll come get you." Camilo offered his plan with a smirk.

Bea looked suitably jealous. "Mi amor! Another woman?" Clearly joking.

"I mean, they are on high alert right now, not just because they caught an intruder and are suspicious of bees, but also *because* Wah Shen is visiting. He's the son of a big wig. But maybe not an ally? Or he's like way up the food chain above them and here for a surprise inspection?"

"It feels like this is information we should share to our superiors at the Academy. They may know more about him."

"It is true that we didn't skirt the exterior of the Champagne room warehouse area. Like, we know it's super well guarded accessing from the black market. But there might be other ways in. Now that we can picture where on the block to look."

She looked at Frankie. "Should... we tell them? I mean these two yeah?"

The Brass Orchid had widened the scope of their search, there is sparks of electricity along a powerline and then a burst of lighting right at the front and there standing is a tall dark skinned man in crackling with electrical energy.


Out from the side of the build comes an over two meter tall Elite who likes a man-tree, with urban clothes. He greets the electrical man before the woman in red exits the front. There is a brief conversation with the door guards before they start running to thor cars and broaden the search.

"Mebirek’i," the red suited woman she said in Chinese to the lightning man and then with a roll of her eyes she added, "Ori-Ent, it was a single girl... but also spying bees maybe she was controlling them, maybe there was another Elite, find them. Kill them."

Camilo looked back and forth between Frankie I and Frankie II. "At this point, you have to tell us. No? And as far as them believing us. We are competing to join the UNJE, they should believe us, and we have some evidence on the camera maybe?" Camilo turns to the camera man who was surprisingly good at blending into the background.
