[D2, EE] Trouble is Brewing (LCA Camilo & Gauss)

[Camilo Batista]

Finishing final checks, Camilo waits for his cue to start.

Hearing the little digital clacker, he waits a second before walking up to the door and reaching for the handle, only for another hand to reach out and grab it ahead of him.

[Gauss]

The matching hand looked back at him with a warm smile. "Let me get that for you, amigo!"

Mami, perdóname por hablar como un Mexicano...

"Got a fight to get to, and Elite Chai's the place to get that midday boost to help me win my match." Raul opens the door just wide enough to squeeze in alone, leaving just enough space Camilo to grab thru as he floats his way over to the line casually.

[Camilo Batista]

Camilo pushes through the door and taps Raul on the shoulder, "I'm sorry amigo, but I think you are in my spot. No? I was here first for a delicious banana papaya smoothie. If you want to make it to your fight, it would be better if you did not cut in line. Otherwise, you may not make it at all."

[Gauss]

He takes a step back from the sheer boom and brass of his voice, but gets right back into it. "Listen here, tonto, Elite Chai's has thousands of locations all across the world, each one providing the same high quality drinks and friendly customer service. Maybe you should go find one before I go help you go find it the hard way!" He knocks his fist together, his signature starting stance in the ring and a small burst appears, with a few things flying off from the impact of his fist. "Or maybe this is the easy way, ese."

¿Por qué debe ser más conocida la jerga Mexicana? I'm not going to hear the end of it when this airs...

Camilo smoothed back his mustache with his fingertips, "No, I do no think that I will find another one. Elite Chai does have the best customer service in the industry and the baristas here know me by name and make my order just how I like it." He rolled his neck and shoulders in preparation. "Now I'm taking my spot in line and I'd like to see you try to stop me."

[Gauss]

"Alright, then, Next location is 5 miles that way, so enjoy the trip!" Raul takes a full swing at Camilo, utilizing the camera on his fist to make it appear like he had actually connected against him with his punch (turning off his power as he connects to avoid causing actual damage to the store and immediate surroundings) as the camera shakes to simulate the impact of the blow.

Bracing himself for the impact, Camilo did his best to sell the hit. He made a big show of being flung backwards into the designated area, cleared of any furnishings they might break from the rough-housing. Unfortunately, his instincts kicked in and instead of ragdolling convincingly onto the floor, he started to recover with a hand spring which he abandoned mid-way when he remembered what he was supposed to be doing. The end result was Camilo flipping over and landing in a something of a seated position. Neither an impressive display of Gauss's abilities nor a fine example of Camilo's agility and deftness. More like two toddlers shoving at each other and one stumbled over with a little extra twist.

"Uhhhmm... Don't think you can get between me and... and... those delicious vegetarian snacks. They fuel me so I can do this." This was were he was supposed to kip-up, but he wasn't really in the right position for that maneuver, so he just kind of stood up.

[Gauss]

His reaction to the hastily choregraphed move was a wide eye, but he could ad-lib just as well with the best of them. "Uhh...those vegan-friendly snacks sure do help you...sit up fast, but it won't help stop me from getting my latte made from Fair Trade Ethiopian coffee beans."

Nailed it.

He moved in to take another swing at him, letting him dodge as they practiced before. Few more seconds and then his part would come into play.

This time, Camilo was able to do what came more naturally to him. As Raul's fist struck out, Camilo fell back into a macao em pé, a kind of back walkover cartwheel, to evade. He kept it slow for the camera like he'd been instructed.

Instead of following it up with a counter as he usually would, Camilo instead planted one hand on his hip and wagged a finger with the other in Raul's face, "No no no, not today. You are too slow. You my friend need a jebena buna, and nobody makes a stronger jebena buna than Elite Chai."
