"He came and had dinner with my host family, and he was really sweet to them. Really complimented Mrs. Bekele on the food."

"So what's a 'situationship'? Is that like when you aren't sure if the vibe is going to end up like a crush or like a brother?"

"It's like you're bangin' yeah, but you don't really say what you are. It's like come over, mate, have some take out, oh no we naked, yeah? Guess we smashin', oh now it's time for Dog days, yeah? Then maybe not chat again for another week till you need some smashin' yeah? Then you gets the feels and then they stop talkin' to yah, bruv," she said.

She laughed a little, giving other Frankie a look, "Americans yeah?"

She then turned to Bee. "Listen, you don't want to go marrying no bloke 'fore you see how he 'performs' yeah? Don't want to go marrying 'im and have it turn out he's like, not compatible with you. Besides, you should at least get to live a little before all that, have some flings and things yeah? Get something to compare your guy for life to so you know if he's really 'the one' or you're making some kind of mistake."

"I mean, personally I wouldn't go for Lil'D, s'pecially not after watching him run away from a talking bird, but I mean you do you."

"It is important to me. To my faith. Which is really where I should be looking! Maybe there will be a nice man at temple on Sunday. A friend of my host family?"

"But I totally understand that most folks don't have to follow the same rules that I do."

She paused.

"A talking bird? What happened with a talking bird?"

"Oh... uh... this was after that first meet-up at the house yeah? And I ran into him playing murder hobo 2 and shouting at the screen and stuff, and I thought I was gonna mess with him yeah? Give him a taste of his own medicine yeah? So this bird shows up outside the window and starts blabbing the same kinda shit he was saying back at him, and he ran away screaming he wasn't dealing with no demon birds. It was hilarious."

"Bruv, I mean a talking demon bird would have freaked me out before now, mate," Frankie admitted.

"Really?" She seemed genuinely surprised; clearly the different Frankies had different 'freak out' thresholds.

"Well... but anyway, you're not like constantly going on about how awesome and tough you are though, yeah? So that's like different, init?"
