“Mad scientist?” Jane said. “He works for money, he isn’t going to just meet us just cause you have powers; he’s a ruthless arms dealer and consultant. I am working on a case and he is a person of interest but if you want to meet we are going to need some money and sure I have it in my budget but it’s a big sum that I would rather not have to cough up.”

“Looking at twenty thousand dollars USD just to meet.”

"It's a large sum of money, Frankie," Jun-Min admitted. "Thankfully the UNJE pays me well, and I guess I don't need to refresh my wardrobe for the Spring. Especially if the universe ceases to exist."

“I am not sure it exists, it was much like this one, just earlier in the timeline, but similar things happened and similar things did not. I was responsible for students back then and they were great and then… they fell into an alternate reality for several months. I was distraught because I thought they died but thankfully they were just stopping an invasion, ask Ruby for the details.”

Ruby said, “We really have no way to go back to our realities and we have no idea of how to even find them? So we have just gone with the assumption that are not accessible, and we are not even sure how we got into this reality. Basically just a bunch of unknowns.”

"I mean, who knows? Maybe Gibson's building some kind of portal, and it could send you back before we have to destroy it to save the universe? Or maybe I'll learn to control my powers better, and maybe I could do it? I don't know, it's just an idle thought. It might not be possible. And this universe doesn't seem so bad, I guess."
