He turned to Frankie. "Oh, do you know the professor, Frankie?" Miles asked. "Their teaching style is... a little weird."

There was a long look at this apparent 'Xaos' person, who seemed to know a lot about everyone for some reason, but the hooded girl looked back at Galatea and nodded.

"Okay. I don't think whoever this person is they're doing anything to help anyone."

She'd missed his introduction as professor Hugh Mann, so she wasn't hip to his alter ego.

To Frozen Shadow they say, “I am here to guide and teach and mold your stupid simple minds. It’s not my fault you can only think in three spatial dimensions and are oblivious to the rest of the universe. But you are welcome to observe at any time.”

He responded to Thousand Miles, “Gross, but please continue smashing your faces together.”

With that she turned to leave the room, nodding to Galatea.

There was so much going on at once. And this professor, some kind of mind reader? He was delving deep into pasts here. Best to let him get back onto track with the silly questions than stray too far down that path.

Hearing Raul's answer, he caught on a bit, but took a different approach. "Neither, sacrificing neither for the greater good is the wrong answer. Inaction just leads to failure, them or us or both, if someone needs to go down for the rest to survive that's a tough decision, but inaction because you can't make a choice will just lead to everyone suffering, you included."

“Where is the fun in that?” he said with a shrug. “Now I must depart, remember to study sections 1 through 8, and pages 44,567 through 86,987,543. Open book exam, you have approximately three months to prepare. But there will be a quiz.”

“Remember fellow flesh bag humans, never stop believing and never stop smashing your faces together. Professor Hugh Mann, away!” he then dashed for the first door he saw and went through, into a closet and closed it behind him.

With totally peaceful thoughts in mind, Camilo got up out of his seat and followed after Professor Hugh Mann.

It'd been a few months since he'd heard the information and it honestly wasn't on the front of his mind. He'd been focusing on getting his provisional license so maybe he could do something about Gibson if and when he found him... Wait, didn't he call that strange girl Miss Gibson?

He turned from Frankie I to look for the other interloper.
