[Day 4 - LA] Have a Seat (Closed)

[Dapper Dog]

"Thanks, I guess," she said with mild confusion.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Oh, it's intentional? Or wait, you don't see it? The dimension energy?"

[Dapper Dog]

“I don’t see this dimensional energy, what are you seeing,” she asked.

[Frankie Reynes]

"It's like, an aura yeah? Something like that. Like I know there's something weird and... *dimensional*... about you. Not these other two. Just you."

[Dapper Dog]

She furrowed her brow and said, “I am from this reality, maybe you are mistaken or maybe it’s due to the experiments.”

[Frankie Reynes]

"That must be it, init? Experiments. See, I knew I nailed it with the mad scientist angle, yeah? So show me yeah? Let's do some SCIENCE yeah?"

[Dapper Dog]

She chuckled at that and said, “Gurl, you are so extra.”

They walked and the halls were clean and white and she led her into a massive lab where there were technicians working on devices and a particle accelerator like device built into the floor. She gestured and said, “This is where we do some theoretical research on particles and exploring how they interact with fabric of reality.”

[Frankie Reynes]

"I see, and where do you keep your flux capacitor? Actually never mind, it's not important. So how does this all work?"

[Dapper Dog]

"You're the scientist," she mused, "You don't have an idea?"

[Frankie Reynes]

"Not a clue," she said without even thinking about it for a second.

"...must be because your science is different in this universe, yeah?"

[Dapper Dog]

“That is probably it,” she said with a warn smile. “Basically we speed up particles and smash them together and then monitor the results to see the conditions of sub particles created. Essentially trying to mimic the conditions of the Big Bang… though that is a gross simplification.”

“While it may seem smaller than usual, it is probably one of the more advanced of it’s kind. I had a hand in the design, based on a concept worked on by Eric Gibson, believe you spoke to him earlier?”

[Frankie Reynes]

"Yeah yeah that makes sense," she said, her eyes glazing over at the techno babble, "So how long before we save the universe?"

[Dapper Dog]

"As soon as possible, gurl. Trust me on that. Give me and my people some time," she said.

[Frankie Reynes]

"...hmmm... oookay. By the way, you guys aren't working with any lizard people or anything, right? I know, weird question. Just have to make sure."

[Dapper Dog]

"I can't say I have any clients that are aliens, lizard aliens at that," she admitted. "Something I should know?"

[Frankie Reynes]

"Universe invading other universe stuff. Turns out the multiverse is pretty dangerous, yeah? Wait... how did you know they were aliens?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Because in this reality, lizard people don't exist, unless they are an elite?" she responded.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Yeah but... but they could be from an earth where humans never evolved, yeah? Then they wouldn't be aliens. Anyway, I'm just saying, you guys got it good here. Messing with this stuff is probably not worth it yeah? Except to keep the universe from blowing up, of course."

[Dapper Dog]

"Commercial availability of teleportation technology for mass transit would be a game changer," she said. "But first we solve the more immediate crisis."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Okay, yes. Yes, good. Are... are we *sure* that it's not the technology that's causing it, though? If it was... would you shut it down?"
