"Perhaps." he nodded. With his hood down he attempted to search through the signals around them, seeking any transmissions that might belong to the yacht.

The way I'm interpreting it, my broadcast range is currently limited to 100 feet. But, I can potentially receive any signals, if I'm within their range. I can hear, but not reply. If the yacht's transmissions can't reach the beach from wherever it is. I won't be able to detect them at all. There are likely several signals for me to examine. And, encrypted signals would be harder to understand what is being transmitted. I can probably get a general sense of which direction a signal is coming from, as it will likely feel stronger if I move towards the source.

You get lots of signals though there are a few encrypted signals floating in the ether, about five of them after you keep listening.

[Babble]

"Radio station... radio station... fishing boat... your phones... hmmm..." He took a few steps one way then another. "There are a few encrypted signals. It could be one of those...."

He thought back to his interaction with the hardsuit, hoping that experience might help him decipher a transmission.

"Any chance you can point us in a physical location?"

"I'm picking up five encrypted signals." He moved a bout a bit, pointing towards the directions each seemed to be coming from.

"Nice! Wish I could see data...wait, no no that sounds horrendous."
There was enough white noise as it is.

"Well, Malik is a supersonic flying angel and each of us can use our senses to hone in on this yacht. Why don't we go for a little expedition?"

[Babble]

"I'll follow your lead."

[Uri-el]

"We are to fly, yes?" He reach out his hands and scooped each of them up without too much strain. The heat coming off him just a bit unsettling, as though a great bonfire burned just behind the skin. "Imagine that I said something suitably soothing."

And then they were off! Moving at the stately speed of the wandering albatross, a mere 79 mph, the angel's massive wings soon had them well off-shore, where he ceased flapping and began to soar well aloft.

"The signal most out to sea first, I would think. Let me know if you see anything. I have adapted to speed, but I think you will still catch sight of them before I do, Iris."

[Iris Pythia]

"Oh this is both very cool and very unsettling."

Iris strains out one arm and tries for a few selfies of the three as they fly on, the camera's click lost to the wind.

"Right, I'm scanning the edge of my perception now."
A third eye opens in her forehead, quite bloodshot from the events earlier in the day as the elite starts concentrating with a slight strain in her face.

Arturo was tense at first. As they rose higher, he was hit by more signals, no longer blocked by tge Earth's curvature. Soon, he relaxed and focused on the directions of the encrypted signals, trying to find a way to unscramble the transmissions.

They approach the source and that is when they see a high tech aerocraft approaching trying to ward them off, it is a nimble craft. Warning shots are loosed towards the elites to deter them from approaching. Two more craft were on intercept towards them.

The high tech yacht battle carrier was moving just above the water, and it was a large ship and yet very maneuverable. It seems a unique design that meshes warfare with style.

[Uri-el]

As Uri-el commenced evasive maneuvers, staying in motion to keep out of the fighters' line of fire, he spoke to his passengers.

"It seems that we have found them!"

[Iris Pythia]

Iris' grip tightens.

"Again those are really cool but I also feel very exposed. I don't want to think how long it would take to swim back from here. But you got this, right?"

[Dapper Dog]

More warning shots, as the other aerocraft converge.

[Babble]

Arturo tried to get a good look at the yacht, trying to comit what he could to memory. "Probably best to withdraw. At least we know what they're using."

[Uri-el]

"And that it will be possible to find them again!" Uri-el felt almost sanguine, though the fact that the jets could probably outrun him without too much difficulty was starting to worm its way into his mind.

"Brace yourselves!" he said, tightening his grip just a bit, and took off at top speed for the city.
