Here she comes (pregame, monday the 9th)

[Frankie Reynes]

"What? Uuuhhhh...." She stood there with a blank look on her face as the hologram suddenly appeared. She glanced briefly to the floating guy she was talking with, as if gauging his reaction to this, before she turned to face the hologram.

"...You know my name? I mean... *of course* you know my name. Right, uhm. I have a schedule?"

Better not show them she had no idea what was going on. So far, she was *nailing* it.

[Dapper Dog]

"...You know my name? I mean... *of course* you know my name. Right, uhm. I have a schedule?"

Better not show them she had no idea what was going on. So far, she was *nailing* it.

“I am an advanced neural network artificial intelligence designed to assist the staff and students of the Institute. So yes I know your name,” the hologram responded.

A floating drone delivers a folder to Frankie as ADINA continued, “I am not seeing your mobile on you, here is a hard copy of your schedule and materials. Is there anything else I can assist with?”

She caught the folder, looking at it a little perplexed.

"Uh... right, my mobile... uh... I mean... let's say I *lost* it... would that... be a problem? And uh, where do I go from here?"

At the same time, she opened the folder to look at it, and see if she could make any sense of its contents.

[Dapper Dog]

“No, you could purchase a new one with your stipend at the campus store or in the city. I can send you thirteen different deals that you can take advantage of. As for where to go from here, that depends on your destination,” ADINA responded.

The paperwork is her schedule, directions to her courses for a Graphic Design program track, her dorm room, basic registration information which kind of checks out and is also not really familiar. Birth dates match up and origins but there seem to be discrepancies in various places in her biographical data.

"Graphic d--" She looked at that part.

"Uh... right... right..."

She glanced back at floaty guy. Then back at the folder. Then back up at the hologram.

"I have a dorm room? How do I get there, then? And what if uh... don't have a key?"

[Gauss]

Survivor? Never heard of that one. Maybe it was one just for the Brits.

And, as if God himself intervened to aid him in his hour of need, ADINA showed up to help this poor girl sort herself out. At last, any social obligations he had to keep helping her were nearly at a end.

He looked at ADINA as if this was a natural occurrence when Frankie looked at him. "Good deal, she can help you get sorted. Looking lovely as always, ADINA. Do something with your hair? Happen to have one more of those schedules for me as well? Got my mobile, unlike this lost soul here, so you can just send it there."

He pulls out his device just for simplicity sake, and to show it off to Frankie, which is apparently her name.

“Your biometrics will work, Frankie.”

ADINA responded to Gauss, “Not a girl, and yes I have sent your mobile the requested information. Is there anything else either of you require?”

[Frankie Reynes]

"Yeah uh... this guy was saying something about a reality show or something? Is that... have we already started shooting that? That's... I mean that's what this is, right? I mean I know of course, I just want to check if you know too."

[Gauss]

"Of course. Thank you." He glanced down at the phone for his class schedule once more. Just the usual engineering classes and the core circulcum classes that he took in high school. He'd have to find where it was later exactly later, but that could come with time.

"Cameras are always watching you, Frankie. Even if it's not recording for entertainment." Was this confused soul going to be his competitor? If so, this gig was starting to get easier by the day.

[Dapper Dog]

“They are filming B-roll, but not all contestants have arrived, official filming will start in a couple of weeks. But we have your contracts on file, so you are compliant and ready for the contest, Frankie,” the hologram responded.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Right... right...I... definitely signed up for that, right? Right."

[Gauss]

"Right."

Raul didn't really look down at Frankie as he spoke, more interested the data on his phone than the direction of the conversation. "You got this, Frankie. Sure you'll do just fine once you had a nap and get your head sorted. Wouldn't hurt to do that now, right? After that fall and the teleporting; you're obviously wiped out from it. ADINA can lead you to your dorm and you can get you sorted."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Oi, are you telling me there's something wrong with my head? How rude! And who said anything about *teleporting*? I was just on the roof... you know, creeping around up there. I slipped. Yeah. We can't all be floaty guys."

[Gauss]

"Nah, don't get up on me chicha, just saying you're just a bit out of sorts right now; happens to the best of us sometimes." Though usually after consuming booze or drugs. He stopped at the mention of the roof and looked up to see how high it was, then down to her. He wasn't a physics person, but he knew enough that she'd be probably dead if she fell from that height under normal circumstances.

Not to mention he saw her entrance.

"I also don't fly, so I wouldn't feel the need to head all the way up there to 'creep' or whatever."

She stared at him, contemplating *doing something* to him. But no. No, that might be a bit harsh of a response. Besides, there'd be all these witnesses. Even if nothing could ever be traced back to her...

"I'm just... jetlagged! Or something!"

[Gauss]

"Yes." He went back to his phone. "See, there you go. Jetlagged. Makes perfect sense to me. Make sense to you, ADINA?" He didn't give the AI a chance to respond. "I'm sure it makes sense to her. Sorry, it. There, that's settled." He did his best to sound like he believed that just to let the subject drop. "Best cure for jetlag? Lying down on a bed instead of a floor." He makes a small circle with his fingers. "It all comes back around to that one point."

After finishing his social media post, Thousand Miles stepped up to an ADINA kiosk, and tried to figure out what classes he was scheduled for, and whether he was going to be in the same class as anyone that he might have heard of.

Another version of ADINA materialized and said, “How can I assist you?” His mobile beeped with a message from ADINA listing his classes and school information.

"Yes." He went back to his phone. "See, there you go. Jetlagged. Makes perfect sense to me. Make sense to you, ADINA?" He didn't give the AI a chance to respond. "I'm sure it makes sense to her. "..." She raised a finger to respond, but couldn't come up with a proper response right in that specific moment.

"...you know what, that is an excellent idea. I'll go do that!"
