Raul smiled and extended his hand. his Zorro mask tilting as he gave a grin. "A queen on my arm...what an honor. Not too many men can say that chance to dance with one." He stepped back just enough to guide her toward the floor, eyes gleaming. "You do know the Queen of Sheba was famous for her taste in powerful men, right? I’m hoping a masked swordsman makes the cut."

She smiled and headed out to the dance floor with him.

"I am interested in Queen Makeda's story. She brought King Solomon many treasures. Perhaps it included the rare honey unique to the region, Aksum, where she ruled? It is unique in all the world, and still produced by the bees here to this day. A bright white honey!"

She paused, looking at him curiously. "Raul, how did you emerge? Did something trigger the development of your elite abilities?"

"White honey is part of my story. I didn't even know it was part of Ethiopia's landscape! Not before hearing about UNJE's competition and doing a bit of research online. I couldn't believe it!"

Her expression remains hidden by the mask but the disdain is clear in her voice.
"You'd probably get further working with other scientists to find a way to fix things collaboratively instead of trying to explain how killing a few innocents is actually totally justified and in fact sort of heroic when you look at it right. You know we have a double digit amount of people at the university with hyper intelligence and tech powers, right?"

"Yeah, but I don't play well with others," she admitted. "Especially with people that built their fortunes on our technology."

Zara Musa took the stage and announced the winners of the auction including the new piece by Hanh, incidentally, won by an Ethiopian politician for three hundred thousand dollars. Once done she said, “Tonight I want to say I am humbled to say we have raised four hundred seventy-eight million dollars for the Malay Beneficiary Group, please give a round of applause for yourselves and fellow donors.”

There is a resounding round of applause before she continued, “I want to give a prayer in the words of my ancestors and wish each of you good health and joy for the future.” She said arcane words in Malay and her form glowed orange red, with images of spirit beings flowing around her and into the ether. Zara spread her arms wide, and a wave of energy flowed over the room, refreshing and warm. She then said, “Please enjoy the concert.”

Ynez joined her on stage as she opened a red-orange portal and stepped through with her assistant. Then Sakura Red took the stage to deliver a killer concert for the wealthy donors.
