[Day 6 - MN] Party like a Warlord

Zara was not the kind of person to leave a work half done, she had started the mission to hunt down the culprits behind the attack and now she was here to finish it. She had sent a message to Uri-el, and other channels available to her, to see if he wanted in on the endeavor but ultimately if she had to fly solo she would. They might have technology but they were elites, and they were definitely superior to whatever this wanna be warlord could throw at them.

Uh, hell yeah it was time to take down a two bit nepo-warlord. And hell yeah Iris had been keeping an eye on things just waiting for someone to make a move.

So it was definitely just good luck and timing she ended up where Zara was right as the other elite was planning to launch a definitely well thought out and planned assault.

"Really looking forward to wiping the smug look off Nuani's face. I wonder if she'll start demanding to be released in French?"

Uri-el had hoped to bring something like overwhelming force to bear on this threat, but, you know, four people is fine, and movement itself is a blessing.

Armed with his trusty sword, he landed opposite Zara.

"Feeling the weight of inaction, were we?," he asked quietly in Arabic. Then in English. "This will be no small thing."

"We're going trick or treating?" Arturo asked as he approached. He knew this would be dangerous and he certainly wasn't the best combatant among them, but he should be able to help in other areas.

Street Witch was inside the empty building, as she others gathered and she nodded and then said in Arabic, “Well I think we can break in using my portals, but it will be a strain, as we have one more joining us once we get to the other side. Our goal once inside is to find a way to cripple the ship and then bring down the leader. Any objections?”

"I should be able to access their systems once we're there, but I won't be able to defend myself." he advised.

“An ally, she’s been briefed and will be ready. Once inside she’ll take point on hunting down out target,” she said gesturing to the table with the potential layout of the ship. She said, pointing to the schematics, “This may not be completely accurate, but we believe if we come here we can disable the power, at least for a time.”

“We are going to have to think on our feet more than I would like.”

Uri-el did not like that at all. Surprises are bad.

"What counts as success for you, here?"

"If we can cripple their operations here, then success, even if we don't get the warlord," she admitted.

"I can be any map and any schematics you need. Been exercising my eyes lately."

Looking around.
"And we get out again using portals? And Malik is backup? I don't really want to spend months swimming back."

"Then once we are there, we are relying on you to guide the teams," she said honestly. "My portals or Uri-el are the escape route. Probably both."

Uri-el used the moment Zara had her attention on Iris to surreptitiously wipe his eyes, leaving them wider open than they were before--a signal that Uri-el, at least, believed that something was decidedly hinky with this operation.

"Well let's get this going, going to try and make it to this area, what should be a hangar hopefully," she said as she started chanting and creating the portal.

"Alright." Arturo readied himself. "Let's go."

Uri-el drew his sword and stepped through.

Iris cocks her head slightly, eyes narrowing.

With a nod she steps through the portal, hoping it wasn't going straight to a cell.

They arrived in a high tech facility, the room was dark, maybe it wa a meeting room with a large table. The lights flickered on with the movement inside. A few seconds passed and then a new figure passed through the portal, it had to duck down to make itself fit but it was feminine in shape and beautifully monstrous.

She narrowed her eyes at the trio of elites assessing them. She stood over two meters in height, a muscular monstrous frame poised for action. Her body making slight changes and shifts every few seconds.
