Azrael glowered at the words, the muscles across her body coiling, preparing to pounce. Her form shifting and preparing to better rend flesh and break bone.

And yet still exude murderous calm.

Iris didn't exactly move to staredown Azrael, given she had enjoyed a pretty good live feed of how dangerous the other elite was. But she did shift slightly in front of Arturo, clearly ready to block for their tech expert if needed.

"That's my insta there. Mainly cool art, so no weird stuff. Hit me up next time you're in town, we can get a drink. See if you got moves."

He followed into the portal, looking over the container carefully.

"Avtio," he said in Greek with a wink and then went through.

She rolls her eyes but smiles, following into the portal.

Uri-el studied Azrael, using her interaction with Arturo for cover. This was a woman who exuded danger and casual violence. There was not much chance that he would not be meeting her sword for claw in the future.

Street Witch followed looking very tired and they were now in a what looked like a brown desert field and there were distant signs and buildings, and they could hear the sounds of a highway and even a plane overhead, high overhead. It was day time here, and if Iris looked the signs were saying Las Vegas.

There was a truck waiting that Samedi Jackson got in.

Street Witch said, “One sec then I will make a portal for you all to get home… I just need a second.”

[Iris Pythia]

"Hey, I know this sort of stuff can take it out of you, no rush."

She stretches.
"I haven't been in Vegas for ages." Wincing. "Did not miss that sun though."

[Azrael]

Azrael reached into the back of the truck and tossed a duffel bag down at Uri-el’s feet and said, “Reward.” Her legs coiled and shifted to provide better jumping power and then she was skyward in a powerful leap.

OOC: The duffel bag has enough money to provide each Wealth 1 Benefit, and it will stack.

"Scary, scary lady. Be a lot cooler if she wasn't murderous."

Iris weighs up the pros and cons of accepting her share before shrugging.
"I'm pretty sure I know how to invest this for a cause. So I can convince myself to take this. It's like that made up philosophy the tech folks used to justify their billions because eventually they'll donate some later."

He watched Azrael bound off, then looked around.

"Rest as much as you need."

Looking at the money, he shrugged. "It's not like we had much choice in how things went. Hopefully we got some of what we need."

[Dapper Dog]

"We survived, and mostly no one got hurt, elites anyway," she said quietly.

[Babble]

"I realize this is one of those no questions asked kind of things. But, I'd really like to know what this was really about." He finally said. "I'm not sure if we made the end of all things more or less likely today."

"I'll be real with you, I don't normally roll with Azrael or her crew. But when they found out what I was looking into, they ponied up money and support," she said. "I thought this was a snatch grab, but to her maybe a rescue operation?"
