[Day 7 - LE] Elite Movie Night - Dragon Break

Kim Jun-Min invited the Elite Academy including Institute students, but also the new transfer students to her home for a movie night. No cameras, she wanted the students to have a chance to relax and not have to feel like they are on and a chance to touch base with everyone and just give them a chance to decompress.

With the end of the semester coming and the end of shooting, stress may be at an all time high and these students had a great amount of things to deal with. So she had Korean barbeque, Ethiopian food, and various deserts on hand.

The movie night was focused around the streaming release of Dragon Break starring Bryson Jones, a handsome Elite action star across from newcomer Suk Choon Hee, a baseline model turned actress. An action movie about dragons invading the modern world and it was up to these heroes and their science team to stop it.

Sweat Pants? Check
Hoodie? Check
Uggs? Check (real uggs too, damn it)
Junk food? Check
Booze? Check

"Oh hell yeah, I love Korean barbecue."
Iris dumps her food offerings on the table, gives a wave to their host and then sets starts laying out small cuts on the grill.

She waved back as she did last minute things before the movie night got underway.

[Galatea]

Galatea had certainly needed a break, no dancing zombies this time please. She came in with a very comfortable toucan onesie with a beak-shaped cup for drinks.

She had a few dried apple chips and some Guaraná soft drinks to share

"Sup! Love the outfit, that looks super cozie."
Flipping some of the meat which was sizzling away.

"Hey, you aren't a vegetarian or anything?"

[Galatea]

''Me?'' Galatea looked dejected ''Haven't you heard of brazilian barbecue?''

She popped open a bottle

''Otherwise thank you dear''

[Babble]

Arturo arrived with a tray of empanadas.

"This movie is based on a book or something, right?"

[Bee Haw]

Bea was there. She was wearing her usual blouse and skirt.

She had a big platter of deviled eggs to share. Mama's recipe!

"Oh this movie looks fun. I'm a huge Bryson Jones fan."

She found a cozy place to sit, and made a little plate to enjoy all the snacks.

''Me?'' Galatea looked dejected ''Haven't you heard of brazilian barbecue?''

She popped open a bottle

''Otherwise thank you dear''

"Never want to assume. Brazilian barbecues pretty solid, lacking in lamb though, which is essential."

Iris piles some cuts onto a small plate, adds some sauces to the side and hands it to Galatea.

"Apolamváno"

Looking over at Arturo.

"Oh and we got empanadas, oh this is gonna be great. Put them over here!"

Then...deviled eggs?

"Uh and eggs, cool!"

[Galatea]

''Obrigado'' she replied, taking the plate ''Anyone up for guaraná?''

[Deusa Dourada]

Outback the Young revengers were playing a rousing game of volleyball. Deusa Dourada entered and said, "I would love some."

[Galatea]

''Of course dear'' she passed her alternate self a bottle ''Need a cup?''

[Deusa Dourada]

"I would like that, thank you," she offered. "Have you seen this movie, before?"

[Galatea]

Galatea produced another toucan beak cup and poured the soft drink in it

''I have not. I think it's quite recent?''

[Uri-el]

Uri-el supposed a little socialization would not kill him. He arrived [accompanied by his signature sonic boom], bearing a dish of Samak Mashwi direct from Alexandria.

He deposited it among the other offerings and, letting the intense spice blend speak for itself, made his way over to the movie area.

[Camilo Batista]

Camilo arrived empty handed and looked around at the mixed offerings. "I did not realize this was uma festa do tipo traga. I would have brought something... like a food or something." He was more of the takeout type than the home cooked meal type.

[Iris Pythia]

Stanley cup of something that wasn't water in one hand, piled high plate of regional delicacies in the other, Iris headed for the couch.

She pauses only slap an empanada into Camilo's hand on the way past.
"Now you got something, and they're good too!"

[Babble]

"Filipino empanadas." Arturo warned. "Not much like empadas. These are a bit sweet."

"Absolutely insane, no idea why someone would make them like that.

I'm having two."

[Babble]

"Every country has its own version. Some have several." He shrugged. "I wonder what other universes have."
