[Day 7 - LA] Pumping Thunder and Iron

[Kid Thor]

Kid Thor was lifting several tons at the gym with Cowgirl spotting her, well more like for morale help because that was far beyond her ability to lift but she was here all the same. Once finished he said, “I talked to Miss Kim and she thinks that their scientists may have a way to get us back home. Could work out.”

He rolled his shoulders and said, “Good warm-up.”

[Cowgirl]

"That would be so great, I like it here but I do miss home, you know?" she responded. "But the people here have been so nice."

[Dapper Dog]

Ruby watched the new people, in case they needed assistance. But also because Kid Thor looked just like Kid Paragon which brought back some deep-rooted memories. She knew it wasn’t him, but it also was him… just a different him.

The multiverse sucks.

[Galatea]

Galatea walking in in her emerald green gym wear. She did. Or usually hit the gym but she needed to clear her head and practice the moves she had learned during the month.

She had not been a warrior but she would be called again to serve as one and she hated being unprepared.

She could not help notice theirs instructor by the corner

"Everything allright Ruby?"

“Yeah, just feel bad for them but they seem to be handling this situation alright,” she said to Galatea.

''Understandable. Hopefully we'll get them home soon. Frankie too.''

She sighed, wondering if changing the topic was a good idea. Well they could still talk while training.

''What are you training today?''

[Dapper Dog]

She laughed lightly and said, “I don’t even know some days, my body isn’t like organic. I just do stuff to keep my mind occupied. I no longer really get tired, like it’s not like my muscles build up acid and all that. I don’t actually have muscles… anyways…”

“What are you here to work on?”

"Yo what's going on?" She appeared out of nowhere, almost as if she had been summoned by someone mentioning her name. But that was silly, she couldn't possibly have known.

"Have you come to work out?" Kid Thor asked as he is bench pressing several tons.

Arturo was working out with a heavy bag, combining kicks, punches and strikes with a long rattan stick. His form had improved over the past few months, but he knew he needed more training.

[Galatea]

"Uh...I'm not really that strong. Unless I'm holding like a hair dryer or something... but then I'm not *that* strong," she said as she watched him lift an absurd amount of weight.

Galatea didn't seem so sure of Ruby's statement

''Anyway I am here to review some tactics and battle forms: Power is useless if it can't be used properly''

Ruby responded, "You seem to be pretty formidable in your battle form, where do you feel you need improvement?"

[Kid Thor]

"Work out?" She asked, cocking her head a little.

"Uh...I'm not really that strong. Unless I'm holding like a hair dryer or something... but then I'm not *that* strong," she said as she watched him lift an absurd amount of weight.

“Yeah, the purpose of the gym, we could do something else? Never used a hair dryer before how does that work?” he asked.

[Cowgirl]

Cowgirl smiled and said, "I think that was a joke, right? Maybe we can do some laps, I need to stretch my legs before we do squats."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Like this," she said, then reached her out into nowhere; letting it disappear as if it went invisible, then pulling out... a hair dryer! or something like it. Some off-brand hair-drying type thing. Or something completely different, it didn't really matter so long as she could potentially beat people over the head with it.

Then she started to glow. Like some kind of dragon ball z character powering up.

"I'm like... sort of strong now, yeah? Stronger than I normally am anyway."

OOC: Strength now at a a mighty... 3, which is more than 0.

"Oh, it wasn't a joke," she said with mild confusion.

Ruby responded, "You seem to be pretty formidable in your battle form, where do you feel you need improvement?"

''It was powerful enough to smash the skull of discount godzilla after a long fight, sure, but it was not quite useful against the zombie swarm beyond taking the aggro. I reviewed some of the material from your class and finished the recommended extra readings to see what moves I could use. Found some, I think it could work well but I still lack precision. I feel like I always need to go all out to connect my attacks''

[Dapper Dog]

“We can do that, want to show me or should we take it to a simulation,” she asked giving Galatea her full attention.

“Explain what you mean by going all out.”

[Frankie Reynes]

"Why would it be a joke?" She asked with similar confusion, "Bruv, Free State London's a dangerous place yeah? Always got to be ready to knock some alien or croc or roadman with a hairdryer or whatevers, yeah?"
