Day 7, EA: Back in Gold

[Galatea]

Galatea was told the situation had been dealt with but she hated leaving loose ends and something was not quite right with her. She wanted to know why...what brought them to study dimensions...and the exact processes.

She wanted the pieces to fit in her mind and go over the data

She did not mind the cameraman this time around...because he probably would be stopped at the gate.

''Is Miss Hill available?'' she asked the front desk

[Dapper Dog]

Ayesha came out to meet Galatea after about five minutes of waiting. She was acquainted with Galatea and a few other UNJE staff members after they joined forces. It had been amicable despite some small hiccups, but trust took time to build.

She greeted Galatea and said, “Hey gurl, come to check in on us?”

[Galatea]

She greeted Ayesha with her best smile

''In part, miss Hill. I am also hoping to get a better understanding of the situation and what led to it. I would also like to review the data...I hav that feeling something got forgotten or missed but I can't exactly figure out what.''

She shrugged

''Call me paranoid but I like making sure all t's are crossed and i's dotted''

[Dapper Dog]

“Well, that’s good timing, I just had a meeting I was going to, but I think you would be perfect to join me. Which data are you looking to review? The data from the Kintsugi Protocol you can look over, if you don’t trust your people,” she said warmly.

“As far as we can things have stabilized after Halloween Madness, but we are constantly monitoring. No outlier events thus far.”

As they waked she added, “I am trying to be as open as we can, but some things I was in the dark too. Miss Kagumbo was the main driver of our work and she is well gone.”

[Galatea]

''It's not that I don't trust them...I just prefer doing my own homework.'' she said honestly ''I'd love to accompany you to your meeting if you want me there.''

She took a second to readjust her hair

''Can I ask how you came to work with Miss Kagumbo?''

[Dapper Dog]

“Great, I would feel better having someone there from the UNJE,” she said. “He came to us and said he had a proposition for us. Goes by the name of Bishop, the pantheon sympathizer or whatever.”

On the question of Kagumbo she thought for a moment and said, “She found my research, but it’s complicated. We can get into it after the meeting.”

[Galatea]

Galatea made a long sigh and put a hand on Ayesha's shoulder, hinting that they should pause their walk for a second

''Not just a sympathiser...I think he is one of the leaders of the movement. Did he come with anyone?''

[Dapper Dog]

“He is alone,” she admitted. “Is he dangerous?”

[Galatea]

''I'd say yes but not in any overt way. I do not want to assume but I'd say he's more of a social or mental immediate type of threat. Some of his associates are suspected of being able to do some mind control and some sort of portal travel.''

She crosses her arms, thinking.

''This might be about the attack on Kagumbo's ship. From what I know his associate, Zara, roped in some Elite Academy participants to join Azrael and her goons. Pantheon stole something big from the ship.''

[Dapper Dog]

"They took ELSI's core," she admitted. "If he thinks we are going to buy back our property he is confused."

[Galatea]

''She might not be your property anymore'' Galatea warned ''She was released from her loyalty protocols. There is speculation that she had a hand in organizing the hit but I am not sure.''

She frowned

''Bishop has another angle. How good are you in playing games?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I studied game theory, if that helps," she said honestly.

[Galatea]

''You good at poker?''

[Dapper Dog]

''You good at poker?''

"Does Blackjack work, what's your plan, gurl?" she asked.

[Galatea]

''This is you house so we'll go with what you prefer'' she began ''If he is here then it's for a purpose and we need to find out what but the real purpose might not be any one he would state to us. So we can go as is and take it from there or we can insert an unknown and I can go under a different guise.''

She gives her a smirk

''Or we can go for a third option but it's more risky and I'd need you to keep a secret.''

[Dapper Dog]

She gestured for them to enter an empty office and closed the door and said, "Okay, so what is this secret third option?

[Galatea]

She leaned in to whisper

''Get me an earpiece and a drop of your blood. I'll take your appearance and go in as you while you stay safe and hidden.''

[Dapper Dog]

She thought about it and figured if this meant she didn't have to be in the same room as a potentially dangerous Elite terrorist then go with it. The plan came together and she gave up some blood and an earpiece.

[Galatea]

Galatea simply put an elegant finger on the drop of blood and it vanished in a golden shimmer. She had extrapolated some of her abilities and by using someone's dna she was certain she could use her symbiote to mimic their form. She concentrated, looking into a mirror. Little by little her apparency changed and Ayesha's likeness took it's place.


''You look good, gurl!''

Then she went in to the meeting

[Bishop]

Bishop was seated in a chair by a large window overlooking a garden below. A handsome older man, perhaps maybe late thirties, well dressed and his accent was definitely British. He stood and said, "Miss Hall, it's a pleasure. I am sure you know by now, but my name is Bishop and I am honored to have this meeting."

He offered his hand to her.
