[D8, EA] Bea's last confessional speech

Bea returned to the Confessional. One last chance to talk to the judges. What to say?

"Howdy, judges! Hey there, folks watching the program! I hope you've gotten a better sense of what it's like to be an elite. It's a big responsibility. That's why training and licensing is so important. And working effectively as a team, with a heart of service."

"I don't know what's going to be decided. I am so grateful for this opportunity. It's been an honor and joy to work with the UNJE staff, and all the other competitors. What a great group! Any of them could bring the expertise and talent and unique elite powers needed for a given rescue or other crisis response."

"I hope I'm still in the running! But if not, I'll find other ways to be useful."

"I think my powers help others to shine and work effectively together. That's an asset for a team! And I'm a good scout and information gatherer. I can provide a lot of quick information about an area and provide overwatch and guidance to folks in danger. I can read minds. But there are definitely folks who can do more to take a bad-intending person down. And faster! I can calm a crowd. I can pacify a villain so they at least pause long enough that someone else can intervene. I'm a good support member on a team. If you'll have room for that and you'll have me."

"Regardless, I hope I've been a good role model for young people watching. You can stick to your principles in any situation. You can stand up for what you believe is right. You can stay clean and pure, if that's important to you."

"You won't go wrong keeping the cowgirl code in mind. You don't have to be a cowgirl! You don't even have to be a girl! You just have to figure out the best version of you. Take this list as a starting point, maybe, but make it your own. Your code. Your values. Baseline or elite, you can be a hero for the people around you, just by being thoughtful and kind."

"1. Live each day with honesty and courage.
2. Take pride in your work. Always do your best.
3. Stay curious. Learn all you can.
4. Do what has to be done and finish what you start.
5. Get back up if you fall.
6. When you make a promise, keep it.
7. Be clean in thought, word, deed, and dress.
8. Give others a leg up when they need.
9. Stand up for what’s right. Protect the weak.
10. Be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals."

"And, if this is the last thing I say on the program, I want to thank my parents, for giving me my faith, my values, my code. And the Bekeles - my host family here. They couldn't have been more welcoming or gracious. They've been important role models for me, too! I can actually imagine staying here, regardless of what happens. And that's also because of the amazing folks at the Mudaba Adin Temple also! What a welcoming community!"

She paused. A deep breath. A long look at the camera. Thinking about all the folks who might watch this recording. Judges, fans, friends, family, her church community, everyone...

"I hope I've made you all proud."
