"We have an alien super intelligence on our side? Why didn't anyone tell me?" She asked, not seriously expecting an answer; still slumped over the counter when Camilo walked in and suggested more frankies.

"Nah bruv... Frankies are stupid. Or maybe it's just this universe that's stupid; so obsessed with money and stupid politics. Besides, I can't summon them on purpose... I don't think I can, anyway."

"Oh... the expert? You mean... Ayesha? Or Gibson? Or the one he's working for? Eh... oh, or I guess the thingie I only just know found out about. I dunno. Maybe. They kept this universe from exploding, yeah? But then we have this shit to deal with."

"What door?" She didn't mean to shriek it, but she was at the end of her rope.

“Oh Cardinal isn’t on your side, Cardinal could be against your side, or maybe they choose that humanity is a pain in the ass to deal with and just leave to find their own destiny. But you do have some advantages; like the fact you can shed your skin, you know they are coming, and a chance to unify yourselves,” Xaos said.

“Which is why I am glad that the you have so many groups at odds with each other. Keeps it interesting.”

"Cardinal and the rest of Pantheon won't be happy about being blamed for what happened last night." he sighed. "Just more proof that humanity is too flawed."

Camilo had listened, trying to wrap his mind around what was going on. Then he heard the offer Xaos made Frankie, this Frankie.

"Wait, you can send her back? What... what about another Frankie? One who can't travel on her own?" He hated the idea of her going away, but she deserved to be home if that's what she wanted. Especially if an army of inconceivable strength was coming in three years. Being dragged here, thrown into the world and conflicts of Elites. Frankie III had been through enough.

She listened, trying to make sense of it all. "Wait, could we diminish the doorway by just putting every object and person back where they belong? And no more touching other dimensions from here? Abstinence?"

"She spent years creating a way home, including the creation of a synthetic intelligence known as ELSI, now calling itself Cardinal. I believe Nuani Kagumbo passed through the Door she created weeks ago. And, I don't believe that device is operational anymore."

“I mean I could,” Xaos said. “But first, how can I help you sir? I can make you a hot drink or a cold drink and what kind of milk? I got all the milks.”

To Bee Haw he said, “Well that is an interesting idea, and I have no idea, maybe? But doubtful, travel across multiverses is the norm, usually,” he said wobbling his hand and then added, “But… not every universe has the same uhh... permeability is that word? Like how easy it is to get into that reality.”

“Do you want a suggestion from me?” he asked.

And maybe not even after, because I need like a base of operations for this thing I'm cooking up and I'm pretty sure the mutant crocodiles have probably gotten out of croydon by now and onto my streets. But also, food is free here, so that's nice. But bruv, tell us your suggestion."

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh that was it, the earth-like cat or dog... or camel spider, is out of the bag. Might as well try to find other realities to work with and band together. Definitely don't call it F.R.A.N.K.I.E., or do."

"Who had the mocha caramel with goopy surprise?" he added. "And it is goopy."

[Frankie Reynes]

To Bee Haw he said, “Well that is an interesting idea, and I have no idea, maybe? Oh and probably figuring out how the door works would be good for everyone. It was important to the visitors, but maybe... just maybe it might be useful to you."

Then he started working on another drink making a mess, "Oh and I will give you this one for free, because it amuses me, Miss Kagumbo if that even is her real name, was an alien being from the Ultrum universe. I assume you all knew that, though."

He was a monster. And not afraid to admit it.

She felt filthy talking to a being who cared so little about sentient life.

Perhaps he was the problem and needed to die. She felt bad thinking that. An unusually violent thought for her. But a force with no care for sentient life was just ... wrong.

Still, she cared. And if he had knowledge, she could stomach the desire to throw up long enough to ask a few more questions.

"I assume any universe has multiple planets, multiple galaxies even. Does the Ultrum Universe - the Ultrum empire - originate from a parallel earth? What does 'alien' mean? From a world other than this earth, or ultrum-earth?"

[Frankie Reynes]

"I should like, learn how to control my own ability... instead of some sciencey door thing. But for others that's good, I guess. I... I did not know she was from the same universe as blue lady, though..."

She seemed to remember something.

"Bruv! I even specifically asked that lot if there was like... evil invasion stuff going to happen when I gave them my blood, yeah? And they specifically said 'nah, nothing like that'. Bloody bastards were lying, yeah?"
