[D9, ME] Three Years is Not Much Time

A bleeding technology and science lab, most of the Institute academic classes take place on these grounds often called the Triangle due to its shape.

[D9, ME] Three Years is Not Much Time

Post by Babble »

Arturo was sitting in one of the computer labs, scanning through data and trying to piece everything he knew together into a cohesive timeline of events. This included noting every incursion from other universes he could identify and collecting any footage of last night's invader he could find.

Taking a break from that, he set up a secure connection through the dark web and logged into Pantheon's chat.

<Rosetta has entered the chat> Hello?

After about a minute <BishopTakesRook> entered.

<BishopTakesRook> Rosetta, are you alright?

<Cardinal> It did not take the UNJE long to form their cover story, predictable.

<Rosetta> I'm bruised and tired, but I'm fine. The UNJE are. Eing shortsighted and stupid. I'm sorry..

<BishopTakesRook> They are scared, and need to show control and purpose. It's an expected if unfortunate move.

<Rosetta> It makes sense to hide impending doom from the general public, but shifting the blame to you was a mistake. We need allies not enemies.

<Cardinal> it's a tactical maneuver to remove a potential threat from the board and unify people.

<BishopTakesRook> we will be fine, the old rivalries will kick in soon enough and the truth will get out in time

<Azrael> Assholes, the lot of them

<Rosetta> I don't think we can afford to remove you from the board, even temporarily. If last night's invader represents only a sample of their world's power and ruthlessness, we need to begin preparing immediately."

<Cardinal> Short term we have to go to ground, but as more people bring the truth to bear we can find breathing room.

<BishopTakesRook> Agreed.

<Azrael> I am half tempted to give them the monster they want to see, but that seems counter productive. Feel good though.

<Rosetta> To work on a defense against the Ultrum Imperium. But, that will be difficult without more information.
