[Day 6 - MN] Party like a Barista

[Julia Waters]

Julia emerged from the crowd her clothes were torn and she had bites and bloody injuries' but she was alive.

[Bee Haw]

Bea made sure the bystanders were safe, and then walked over to Cowgirl and the other Revengers.

"Hello. I'm Beatrice Hawkins. Sometimes called Bee Haw. I believe your team is from an alternate universe. As were the villains we just fought."

"My friends and I are from Elite Academy."

"Thank you all for helping us fight those villains. They would have trapped everyone here, mindlessly dancing, and killed them all with necrotic energy and zombification." She thought it might help to say that. Everyone would have died if nothing had been done.

"I am not sure if there is a way for you to return home to your universe. We have been tracking some indicators that something is wrong in the relationship between universes. Something that puts this universe at risk."

[Thousand Miles]

Master Qianli closed his eyes and felt the strange and disorganized dragon lines. He opened his eyes and said, “This world is in chaos, I do not feel the familiarity of the Dragon Lines, the fengshui is off. I do not like what I see.”

His gaze falling on Thousand Miles, “This place is not as we know it.”

"I like your style, 'Master Qianli,' " Miles said in Mandarin Chinese as he flashed his counterpart a peace sign. "Are you... me? From another dimension?"

[Dapper Dog]

''We'll call the authorities to come pick them up." She replied calmly, reaching for her phone and calling it in "You helped save a lot of lives tonight Hana, thank you."

She nodded but stayed alert for any new threats.

[Cowgirl]

She listened and her eyes grow wide at points and then replied, “My name is Beatrice Hawkins too, that’s real funny that we both have the same name. Like twins! What’s the Elite Academy? Wait where are we? And what’s wrong with the universe?”

“We havin’ another alien invasion?” she asked.

[Master Qianli]

"I like your style, 'Master Qianli,' " Miles said in Mandarin Chinese as he flashed his counterpart a peace sign. "Are you... me? From another dimension?"

He said in Mandarin, “Thanks, you are quite stylish, yourself… I am known as Master Qianli. This place is not our own, and the dragon lines are wild so yes, I suspect what you say is true. We have traveled to an alternate reality.”

He pulled out his phone and said, “Selfie?”

[Camilo Batista]

Behind the bar, Camilo hunched over Frankie in the aftermath of the fireball, the burns across his back already healing.

"Shhhh, you're okay now, I've got you. I'll help you real soon, but I've got to help these others first." Camilo knew she'd understand, hoped she would understand. She was trained for coastal rescue, so maybe she knew something about triage. If he took her injuries now, he wouldn't be able to help the other for a while. He turned to another patron behind the bar, "Please stay with her, I will be back soon."

Standing up from behind the bar, one of his bull horns broken off, he yelled out into the club, "If you are injured and can walk, form up near the entrance. If you see someone who is injured and can not walk, stand by them and hold something, anything to get attention, up in the air. Help will be with you soon.:

His first stop was to Julia. She looked roughed up, but he knew she would help out if he could get her healed.

[Thousand Miles]

He said in Mandarin, “Thanks, you are quite stylish, yourself… I am known as Master Qianli. This place is not our own, and the dragon lines are wild so yes, I suspect what you say is true. We have traveled to an alternate reality.”

He pulled out his phone and said, “Selfie?”

Miles grinned. "You bet!"

The two posed for several selfies, with the disco/battle scene as background. Miles made sure to get a couple for his Instagram, too.

[Galatea]

Galatea called the incident to the authories and identified herself. She then called in to the UNJE to report the situation and the new team of elite from another world.

All the while there was a cold bead of sweat running along her back as she listened to the conversations. Two out of four so far...she counted, Bee Haw and Thousand Miles's have their alternate counterparts. Unless Camilo's otherworldly doppleganager was a woman, there was a good chance Deusa Dourada was hers...there were certain parallels.

She eyed her wearily, trying to be subtle.

Julia was thankful for the aid, and just glad she made it through. Once tended to, she did assist with the cleanup.

[Frankie Reynes]

"Yo yo yo! These are the *revengers*!" Frankie was suddenly coming in with the recognition.

"I mean, the *young* revengers, but *still*! Hey bruv, we're from the same universe!"

[Kid Thor]

"Yo yo yo! These are the *revengers*!" Frankie was suddenly coming in with the recognition.

"I mean, the *young* revengers, but *still*! Hey bruv, we're from the same universe!"

“Well thanks, are you a member of our fan club? Remember to say no to drugs, and always do your homework,” he said proudly.

[Deusa Dourada]

Deusa Dourada said in Portuguese, “I suspect we are alternates, they call me Deusa Dourada. I am the mistress of the mind blessed by the spirits with the crown of the mind.”

“It’s a metaphorical crown, that turned me into a golden goddess.”

[Frankie Reynes]

“Well thanks, are you a member of our fan club? Remember to say no to drugs, and always do your homework,” he said proudly.

"Well I wouldn't go that far, but I mean still, this universe doesn't even *have* you guys. No Young Revengers, no West Coast Revengers, no London Revengers, No Revengers period, yeah? This universe hasn't even had to deal with aliens yet, can you believe it?! I can't even talk to anyone about Survivor: Croydon or whatever 'ere because their tv shows are all different yeah? Anyway, so this is pretty cool yeah? Except for, I guess... this means our universe are colliding and ending after all even though that mad scientist says they were going to fix it tonight... damn it... this sucks. Sorry bruv, I guess this is all kind of partially my fault. Though they probably made it worse."

[Kid Thor]

“I have no idea what most of that meant,” he said with confusion. “But that would explain why I can’t reach the tower. What mad scientists are involved in this sinister plot to destroy our universe?”

[Dapper Dog]

Detective Nasir arrived with his Elite Response tam to bring the situation under control. He looked tired but was glad to see that the elites had this under control.

So they shifted to aiding civilians and aiding other emergency staff on the scene.

[Bee Haw]

She listened and her eyes grow wide at points and then replied, “My name is Beatrice Hawkins too, that’s real funny that we both have the same name. Like twins! What’s the Elite Academy? Wait where are we? And what’s wrong with the universe?”

"I think we are counterparts. The same person, in a slightly different world, a slightly different life. Different choices. I have so many questions for you! Did you grow up on the ranch in Gore, Oklahoma? Are you also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
Did you fall into the tunnels under the property? Did you eat the white honeycomb? Were you part of the Salt of the Earth?"

"We're in the country of Ethiopia. The city of Mudaba Adin. Near the UNJE Institute. That's 'United Nations Justice Elite'. There's a team - the Justice Elite - who are part of UNJE (United Nations Justice Elite). They are the top tier team who operate as defenders of the globe from dangerous threats, disasters, and stuff. But UNJE also does scientific and diplomatic and humanitarian work. They are looking to set up some more junior league teams. Or at least one. And we're part of a try out to be part of that next team to be formed. Folks from all over the world. It's all being filmed too. A reality TV show."

"I wish I knew what was wrong with the universe. Frankie," - she pointed to her, "got a warning from like a cosmic entity, sort of a power or principality of time or chaos, or something like that? That we needed to fix it. We're still trying to work out how. There seems to be a scientist pushing the edge of time travel or dimensional theoretical something, and we have to stop them from going too far. But we have to find them first. And make sure our actions aren't the very thing that pushes them to do the bad thing."

When she saw Detective Nasir arrive, she told Cowgirl: "Oh hey Detective Nasir is here. He's part of the local police. He's a good guy. He'll want to talk to you. To all of us, likely. Since people died."

[Frankie Reynes]

"Okay, so first... i show up here yeah? from our universe. Because that's a thing I can do. I guess. But not on purpose. Anyway, that punched a hole in the fabric of the multiverse or something, yeah? Which is bad enough. But! Then there's these eldritch space time gods or something yeah? And they told me about this guy called Eric Gibson yeah? Who'se like a scientist who does mad scientist type research on this stuff yeah? But then when I went to talk to him I got kidnapped by this *other* mad scientist who'se like called Ayesha or something? And she took some of my blood and said she would work on it yeah? So today I went and checked up on them because she called me last night and things sounded like there might be some *intrigue* there, yeah? So I teleported into their secret lab or whatever and stuff and saw there was all this dimensional energy stuff there yeah? And so then I saw Eric Gibson but then there was this *other* woman who was clearly the boss lady and she was all kind of like 'Frankie Reynes, you can't just break in here, it's against the law and stuff', but then I was like 'yeah but the universe is about to explode, yeah?' and then she was like 'don't worry that will be fixed by tonight', but it's tonight right now, and you guys are here so clearly the universe didn't get fixed but got worse somehow yeah? So basically that's what's going on init?"

[Cowgirl]

Cowgirl listened to her counterpart ad Frankie and then said aloud, “I think we need to slow down and figure out just went down, Kid Thor. We can’t just assume things work the same here as much as I love to bring justice we need to do it right.”

She said to Bee Haw, “Not an LDS, but raised in the church and from Gore, no caves or bees; I come from a line of law women who all used the Lasso of Justice to bring order to the west, it was gifted to us by Bass Reeves and has never lead us wrong.”

To Frankie she said, “So these scientists are still messing stuff up and things are getting worse around here? How would we know if things were getting better? I am guessing partner that ya’ll are saying the universe will end or something?”

[Kid Thor]

Kid Thor considered everything and said, “Alright this is big, we can’t get the Revengers, and this would be a perfect time for Sergeant USA, but I will settle for whatever you got in this reality? Time for them to assemble and take down these scientists.”
